A father's search for the truth

Amazing story of a father who spent months trying to find his child after it's mother abandoned the newborn in a church in another country. Excerpt:

"Across an ocean, 28-year-old Brandon Henry was on a quest for answers of his own. He no longer believed his girlfriend's story that their baby died at birth last summer at a Sugar Land hospital.

That's when Stephanie Chavarria confessed to leaving the child in Florence while vacationing with her parents, police said. “She told me she gave birth in the hotel bathroom,” Henry said. “Then, not knowing what else to do, she'd gone into a church to pray. She wanted help but nobody spoke English. So she just left him there.

After a DNA analysis proved Henry was indeed the father, he was finally permitted to see his son, who was 3 months old by then.

... the only that annoys/scares feminists more than a man who is uninterested in his own paternity is one who is... especially in cases like this. Goes a long way to debunking their myths about fathers.

He should get child support from the mother who abandoned the child, but then the mom would come back demand and get custody and he would no longer see the child and be stuck with 18 years of CS payments. On second thought...

What a heart-wrenching story.

Just think how things would have been different if he had not had the ultrasound picture, as her parents were denying that their daughter had ever been pregnant.

I hope authorities file all charges that are relevant (the parents should even be charged for lying to police) reimburse father for his expenses, etc.

I also hope the father maintains full custody and the mother pays child support.

I have always believed that most men will go to the ends of the earth to protect and care for their children.

This is a good example of how many men are more excited about a baby than the mothers are. She knew what he wanted and she tried to severe all ties between the father and child.
