India: "Dating Allowance" Case Draws Ire

The men's rights movement does exist in India. The sheer volume of population can give an idea that India is likely to have more men's rights activists then Australia in spite of the fact that the feminists have started to hit-and-bat at will only from year 2000 onwards.

Only a feminist can make dating allowance seem like a crime the link to this is here.

But unfortunately for her the MRAs were available and the reaction was swift in a day with SIF and Asha-kiran; it made front page news.

The first case of Domestic violence in India and it is proved to have been misused.

The reaction in the software capital of India is furious and the newspapers and TV channels do not give an indication of the fury that is in undercurrent at the law which seems to favour the women with the modern "Shurpankha principle". (In Indian mythology, Shurpanakha is a lady who does not even stop at murder for her illegal demand of adultery and she gets her first husband killed by a ruler by making false allegations.)

Finally we cannot but have gratitude towards David Usher for debunking the 70% myth and getting Washington Post to retract. The reporter had a tough tongue-lashing from us and that is why, with a malicious intent, she included a false interpretation of the study.

Please clarify re "dating allowance"-- is this referring to a company with a policy that states it will not interefere with employees' personal decisions to be romantically or sexually involved with each other? Or are you referring to some other thing?

Judging by what is written in the article, "dating allowances" are supposed to be some sort of money payments from a company to employees:

"He said he is not paid any dating allowance by the company"

Though the purport of such payments is absolutely unclear.

Trying to read this article is like unintentionally being sucked into a tsunami wave of pop-ups, cookies, malware, and who knows what else!

If you succeed in actually reading the piece, immediately run your protective applications to see which programmer in Bangalore has made an attempt to assault your PC's security integrity.

So happy that all our I.T. development careers are being exported to India and China ... two nations that believe the term "pirate" = "profit."

I'm using FireFox and all the Java scripts, pop-ups, cookies, etc, are automatically blocked. I visited that site and even didn't notice that it is full of various garbage.

Dating allowance is part of compensation package in some companies . It is given with the respect to spread the domestic harmony. Just an HR hoopla call some portion of salary as dating allowance.

Wow! Looks like the marriage strike in India will have to start much sooner - the feminists have jumped right into the deep end, possibly considering the pressure that men have to marry in Indian society.

Try Firefox and the Adblock Plus plugin, maybe with Flashgot to stop those nasty flash animations.
And consider switching to Linux or BSD if you want to stop the malware/virus problem once and for all. Mac should also be ok.
