Court rules boy can't compete on girls' squad

Story here. So girls can still play on boys' teams, but not vice versa. Excerpt:
"MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- A state appeals court on Thursday rejected a lawsuit by a boy who wanted to compete on his high school's girls' gymnastics team.
The District 4 Court of Appeals upheld a judge's dismissal of Keith Michael Bukowski's lawsuit against the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association, which has a rule prohibiting boys from competing in girls' sports."

Laughable
Some things are such idiotic that it's just funny to read about them. A girl sues to be allowed to compete in a boys team - she wins. A boy files a similar lawsuit - he loses. It's really entertaining to watch what stupid justifications judges find for their rulings.
Women and Sports
"Courts have previously ruled that letting boys compete on girls' teams jeopardizes opportunities for girls."
Apparently this boy as an individual means nothing compared to the "greater good" of female athletics.
Boys are paying a high price for having more natural athletic ability. The courts and government need to impliment laws to some how balance this athletic disparity. Is it unfair that males are better athletes? Ofcoarse not, but for some politically correct feminists, they see this reality as some kind of discrimination. Regarding title IX, someone here made an interseting qoute.."If you can't beat'em, take their sports away".
About 7 years ago, a woman had actually made it to a Single A minor league team (baseball). As a pitcher she threw around 82 mph, had virtually no breaking ball and a changeup decribed by scouts as below average. When she was released by the club, many activists (i asume feminists) cried discrimination! These arrogant feminists believed her gender was more important than her obvious lack of talent. These people didn't realize most minor league players with more ability don't make it to the majors. I almost wish she made the jump from single a to the majors (which is unheard of even for "can't miss" prospects".) The humiliation of facing an albert puljos or david ortiz would keep women out of MLB forever.

Only because it's not your life the judge is deciding on
I believe judges should 100% accountable for their decisions and personally liable if they make bad ones... ie blatantly discriminating or atrociously unfair.
Seeing judges get judged for their poor choices, now that would be entertaining!
One step closer
These kind of rulings are getting us closer and closer to the ideal feminist world: The co-ed sphere where males and females are "equal" and the female sphere where females can be all by themselves in their sister-hood.
I lived in Saudi Arabia for 9 years (my dad had a job there) and everything was divided into two sections: "Singles" (men only) and "Families" (women, children, and men). I found this quite discriminatory and unfair to an entire gender. I was glad that, on the surface, my country (USA) wasn't like that. However we are getting dangerously close to this same situation (just redefine "families" and "singles") in West. Hopefully we'll purge our governments soon enough so that we can focus on actual problems (not "threats" conjured up by the feminists).
??
What that decision has to do with anyone's life? The decision is blatantly discriminating, but the more such idiotic decisions - the sooner feminism will come to its end.
Do we have any time yet
Hopefully we'll purge our governments soon enough
Soon enough so that it wasn't too late...
I am sure that young man is very hurt by this loss
This boy obviously wanted to compete on the girls team and I am sure this set back will affect him.
Not to mention other boys who may also wish to compete on girls teams because they love the sport but do not meet the minimum requirements to play on the boys team.
No judges decision is harmless, no matter the ruling there is always a loser. It just matters if the decision is justified or is motivated by some other interest like discrimination which appears to be the case here.
So yeah, I think this judge was passing a ruling on an important issue in this boys life.
The young man has won
This court's decision is a step to the ultimate win and I'm sure the guy clearly understands this. It's obviously that he undertook this step out of principle, in order to show the discriminatory practices of the educational system - and he successfully succeeded in this (note that the solidarity with him expressed several hundreds other students).
Title IX Has Eviscerated Men's College Sports
I truly do not grasp the legal decision denying this young man's petition.
How is it that an association of public and private schools cannot be treated as a legal entity with power to practice gender discrimination?
The whole history of Title IX which was passed into law (supposedly) to create "equity" in collegiate athletics has resulted in the decimation of hundreds of men's teams on campuses across the country.
All the research about this shows that female college students are not by-and- large interested in participating in sports.
So, because most college women do not go out for sports, the only way to have statistical equality (mandated under Title IX) is to reduce (eliminate) men's teams.
This story is just one more example (as if we needed another) that feminism views the gender wars as a zero-sum game.
Men must LOSE in order for women to become "EQUAL."
Interesting logic, yes?
(PS -- marriage is the ultimate Title IX contract....)
Feminists are impudent and cynical
By the way, note the cynical remark made by the school's principal: "Even though he couldn't compete with us, he's teaching our kids.".
A very refreshing news though is that more and more young people begin to realize that they are cynically oppressed and begin to try to protect their rights:
Hundreds of students at his high school signed a petition backing his efforts

"What that decision has to do with anyone's life?"
Not sure what you mean

Science Dictates That The Best
way to allow women to compete is by demasculating the males.
This is clearly demonstrated in horse racing, where the removal of the balls of the males results in a "more competitive" situation for the females.
The feminists know and understand this.
This is the whole role of feminism. By crippling the males, the females now feel "equal".
Of course, there is a huge number of women who are now complaining that "there are no good men" and/or "men are afraid of commitment".
Newsflash! There are many, many, great men around which are technically "available". They are simply sick of the political correctness being forced down their throats and their blatant loss of human rights in order to make the ladies feel "equal".
This is why there are lady's tees in golf. We both have the same score cards, but the girls get to start 100 yards closer to the pin. This is "equality" as seen through the eyes of feminism.

It's really is not a big deal if you aren't willing to elaborate on your comment. Simply curiosity on my part.

Not sure what is unclear in my comment
The meaning of the comment becomes clear if you see that it was an answer to the Paragon's comment about judges making life decisions. If you see the Paragon's comment, then all must be clear.
thankyou
didnt mean to come across as combative, but thankyou for your response
