'First Lady Michelle Obama made the case Friday morning that health care reform is a women's issue and called on female activists to support President Obama's reform plan.

"Health insurance reform and what it means for our families is very much a women's issue," Obama said, speaking to a group of female advocacy leaders at the White House. "If we want to ensure women have opportunities that they deserve, if we want women to be able to care for their families and pursue things they could never imagine, then we have to reform the system."'

My position on universal health care is irrelevant, but its obvious The White house wants to write off any disagreement as sexist.

Men are so scared shitless of the sexist label, they'll easily conform to this rhetoric.

As for women, they're so easily manipulated by feminist groups they have no choice but to feel victimized.

This is nothing more then an example of identity politics. Create an invisible woman's issue and have Obama come to to their rescue.

If Health Care is a Women's Issue as opposed to a HUMAN Issue, then I'm against it.

When anything is a Women's Issue, that means women and girls get nearly everything and men and boys get a few crumbs at best.

If the bounty isn't going to be shared equally, then how about no bounty at all?

The Republicans and the Democrats form a duopoly. Voting for either party will yield the same result. The party platforms are presented to the public in a different manner depending on who is in power but the outcome is the same.

No meaningful change will ever take place as long as this system remains intact.
