'Feminism is the theory that men and women are equal in every respect--except for those in which women are superior. The trick is to interpret every social indicator as though it demonstrates arbitrary male privilege or genuine female superiority.
For example, when studies show that girls perform less well than boys at advanced math, it is due to systemic discrimination in favor of boys; but when the same studies show that boys’ under-performance in the language arts is four times as great as that of girls in math, well that is due to girls’ innate superiority.'

Left my own quote
Feminism is the radical notion that women are people. Anti-feminism is the radical notion that both women and men are people.
Feminism has always been an
Feminism has always been an elitist movement, benefiting only a few. It stuffs the average woman, in the long run.

Traditional Values
Feminism is the modern method of enforcing traditional principles; women are valuable and men are disposable
Feminism
Some people use the word feminism to mean that women can succeed at things outside of the home. I am fine with that. I am all for equal respect and female pride, etc.
However, many feminists have attacked women that choose traditional roles like women that want to be full time moms and like to cook and clean and such. They claim to stand for freedom and 'pro-choice', but really that is only if you choose what THEY THINK is best.
Many feminist disrespect the laws of nature. They do not listen to their reproductive senses and they shame men for their sexual nature. For example they disapprove of men looking at Playboy, strippers, etc and they despise the women that participate in such fields. They also despise any woman that does anything that is interpreted as trying to attract a man such as wearing high heels, showing cleavage, etc.
I chalk this up to human nature and have always been puzzled by people that try to shame the sexual nature of either gender. (My bitterness for this stems from my early years at an extreme Christian school that shamed so much as sexual thoughts!).
Anyway , I have been no friend of feminists. Even though , I let them be and respect their choices, they seem to feel the need to 'save' me from my 'low self esteem' that they conclude that I must have for having children at a young age, my desire to be a stay at home mom and raise my own kids (I work full time now, but I would LOVE to quit) and my 'oppressive' attitude about birth control and abortion.
Oh, and I also don't get upset if my husband looks at pretty girls, Playboy, goes to strip clubs or Hooters. I would think he was a dud if he didn't show any interest. It is how I know he is healthy. It will be a sad day when he doesn't show any interest. (BTW he tells me I'm hotter than any girl he see's - what a good man!)
Fighting nature is an uphill battle, I would not recommend it. Life is so much easier when you accept and respect it.

That is a very insightful comment. The one 'correction' is that feminists are in reality split into two camps on strippers/prostitution/porn.
The one camp is as you suggest, vehemently opposed to these as 'objectification of women'
But there is another party among them who say 'go for it' as they believe women should pursue their sexuality to the fullest extent, and be liberated regarding their bodies, and etc. (I'm probably not wording it very well but you get the idea.) However I believe they advocate for better treatment of women in these fields, such as testing for STD's and what not.
This is the only issue I know of where feminists are in stark disagreement.
[note: Nathanson and Young lump porn and prostitution (and by extension strippers) into the same category, and I agree with them, although one is mostly illegal and the other mostly not.]
