"Sin by Silence" - DV film documentary to be aired at university
Article here. Excerpt:
'Vanguard University is hosting a free screening of the documentary “Sin by Silence,” a film about battered women and their seemingly hopeless options to get out of abusive relationships.
...
The film was inspired by a Vanguard professor’s book on battered women who were killers. The documentary is directed by Vanguard alumna Olivia Klaus and co-produced and edited by Vanguard assistant professor Ann-Caryn Cleveland.
The documentary questions why women don’t leave their abusers, examines the systems in place to help women gain independence from the relationships and aims to help people understand how domestic violence occurs today.
Organizers will take the movie on a tour of the 10 states with the most documented incidents of domestic violence in the country, school officials said.'

So let's see...
... if a man murders his wife and claims he did so because she was abusing him and he felt he had no choice in the matter, then gets put into jail for it anyway, does he also get a documentary?
I've begun to realize over
I've begun to realize over the last year or so, that most things like this are just 'false constructs' (created by feminist ideologues), which in this case means:
There have always been men who hit their wives (just like vice-versa). And, it stands to reason a fair number of them are going to be attracted back into the relationship after a violent episode, if it appears things are going to be reconciled. That's just basic human nature - why is it a 'syndrome'? Some women are just trying to make up their minds whether to leave or not, some are 'weak-willed' or whatever.
But what seems to have happened is feminists have created the construct of 'battered woman syndrome'. At some point, probably in the early 80's, a critical mass of people had bought into the idea; it probably sounds good to liberal intelluctuals, marxists, and the like, not to mention lots of psychologists and social workers who think stuff like this is neat. Once enough people believed in this notion, it became 'self-reinforcing' - multitudes of studies have been done which are based on the assumption that it is valid, and later if anyone questions the assumption, then these same studies are used to 'prove' it's valid!
To tell the truth I don't believe PAS is any more valid than battered woman syndrome (mom tries to get the kid to hate dad - what else is new?), but it is a necessary construct to begin to balance the scales. Also if there is such a thing as battered woman syndrome, there should be such a thing as battered man syndrome.
What's really frustrating is that it probably won't be until after the men's movement succeeds that all this nonsense will start to be undone, and Farrell predicts the rest of this century for that alone. So we're probably looking at the year 2140-2160 or later for a return to anything resembling sanity. (2100 for success of MR movement plus 2-3 generations to undo the B.S.)

RADICAL FEMINIST LIES ARE EVIL & SO ARE THOSE WHO SPREAD THEM
The propaganda comes first in rad fem d.v. indoctrination. Their lies would have us believe d.v. is only about battered women and the bad men who batterer them. Never mind the truth, the facts, it's not about that. The flagrant dishonesty about what is really going on in domestic violence situations overall is what makes rad fem propaganda so evil. It is evil to disregard battered men. It is evil to excuse and reward violent, battering women. Do churches who involve themselves in spreading evil lies about domestic violence also believe God goes along with their commission of evil?
There's No Excuse For Domestic Violence Even If You're A Woman
