Apparently the accused rapist asked the boy's mother for her blessing to continue the 'relationship'.

They are using words like 'victim' and 'grooming' rather than using words like 'relationship' and 'romantic'. The psychologist being interviewed does a good job of discussing the issue and labeling it for what it is: a criminal pathology called ephebophilia. My only concern about the clip is that one could infer that the woman has a 'sickness' and so is not behaving criminally but "merely" pathologically, however I don't think that was the intent. In any case, the style of reporting itself represents progress in getting people to see what this kind of behavior is: criminal, yet even when perpetrated by a female.

I would love to have been a fly on the wall when this women asked the boys mother for her blessing.

Possible scenario:

"Hello Mrs 'Smith' -- I was hoping for permission to fuck your 14 year old son"
