the absurd amounts of social programs, largely directed at women have no role in this. The excesses of women only funding and gender mainstreaming in Iceland are the very social policies that allowed the mess in Iceland to become so bad. A country that has a gender imbalance in education as high as 80-20. I think the argument can be made the meltdown in Iceland is because of women friendly social policies, and having them clean it up is, well like of much of European gender engineering programs, a recipe for continued economic stagnation. Ironically these programs were been made possible by the very risk taking that has created the wealth to implement these experiments.

This article reeks of hate speech. The whole basis of the argument is the credit crisis was caused because of men and their testosterone driven male behaviour. She fails to mention the rules in which financial institutions operate in, instead focusing the whole article on personal attacks against men and glorifying females. The author Emma De Vita comes across as a Female supremacist using studies, from feminist academia no doubt, to basically say how superior the female mind is to men's and if women were in charge everything would be so much different, in other words women are superior to men and they would not have caused this mess if they ruled the world, etc.

Could a man get away with the female equivalent of these:

testosterone-ridden rules, testosterone-enhanced culture,

The idea that women are sensible and collaborative and men are competitive and aggressive has been with us ever since Fred Flintstone chucked Wilma over his shoulder...

Don't defend the bankers male or female. As I have said in other posts we here are free men and don't want to be dominated by male bastards of female bitches. The question should not so much be male or female bankers but do we have bankers at all who have the power to create misery for us all?

But what evidence does she have to this not happening under women? It's funny that these sort of people are the same people who think stereotypes are a social construct with very little genuine intersex difference yet they're willing to throw stereotypes at ALL men in order to strengthen their non-existant point. I've observed companies completely collapse under the guidance of women numerous times as I have observed companies grow steadily under risk-taking women. What she also fails to say is that male participation in organizations is actually strongly correlated to economical (as well as member) growth of these organizations. Typical Iceland woman.
