Huffington Post: 'McCain-Palin's Extreme Position On Violence Against Women'

This article is pure feminist propaganda that deliberately omits any actual social science or data about female-on-male domestic violence.

There is no honest scholarly interest in understanding the issues. It is simply polemics.

In terms of the propaganda war against boys and men, it actually consists of two agendas that work hand-in-hand to ensure that women will never lose their superior status in the world: neocons and more moderate conservatives cave in to anything and everything women demand, whereas the equally loony nutcases at the extreme left of the political spectrum simply insist that males should be dragged out into the streets and shot (sometimes figuratively, sometimes literally), to make life easier than it already is for women.

Neither agenda makes any sense, nor do those who propagate them.

Also, do be sure to avoid Stephen Colbert's show like the plague: thus far he's had Kim Gandy, Gloria Steinem, Jane Fonda and a whole host of other man-hating hags on his show, but not one single author, media personality or spokesman that might cast a positive light on men's issues or the myriad problems facing boys and men. The propaganda is strong with this one, so it's no surprise that this Huffington tart is a regular fixture on his show.

MRAs usually drift to the right because the bleeding-heart lefties usually buy into feminist bullshit hard and heavy. My heart is perfectly capable of bleeding...just for people who deserve it.
Fundamental human rights should not be part of partisan politics. Actually, it really isn't. Anyone who thinks the right-wingers are any sort of MRA panacea then they better think again.

On a related topic, the Conservatives are almost certainly going to be re-elected up here in Canada. Can't say I'm disappointed as Harper was the one who cut funding to women's programs. That and he is a pretty bright guy.

It's kinda ironic. I just noticed that blue means conservative, here in Canada, and red means conservative in the U.S. It's weird how the two conservative parties have different colours.

I have to agree with Scottie. I wouldn't mind seeing Harper get reelected. He actually lowered the GST twice. He's way better than Dion!

As for the article, anyone can tell it's a load of crap. All you have to do is read the part where it claims that women are the "overwhelming victim of violence". I rolled my eyes as I read that.

I also found it amusing how the article tries to accuse all men who are against VAWA, of being wifebeating misogynist rapists. Us being against it has nothing to do with a desire to see violence against women, it's the fact that VAWA makes it so that any female can use it as her own means of making a man's life a living hell if she so chooses. Of course, whoever wrote this feminazi trife will try to have you believe that women would never lie about violence. We, however, have countless articles to prove otherwise.
