Article here. Excerpt:
'Then there's Bruce, who was a truck driver in Boston and who came home one day to find his things on the street, the locks on his doors changed, and his wife's new boyfriend already moved in. Angry and bewildered, Bruce kicked in the door and began shouting. (He did not strike anyone.) His wife called the police, who arrived and took Bruce away in handcuffs. She got a restraining order preventing any contact with his three children. When his son was hospitalized with an illness, he was not allowed to visit. Eventually Bruce was allowed to see his children at a supervised visitation center with his wife and her boyfriend present in the next room.'

Jail...
I worked in a detention center in Florida. The majoraty of men in jail for not paying child support was not because they did not want to, it was because they could not afford it. There was no way for them to catch up on payments (how can you in jail?) and they truely loved their kids that they were not allowed to see.
The only winner in these situations is the woman. The father loses and the kids lose. These women don't truely give a damn about their kids. If they did, they would not tear their families apart as they do now.
From my experiances working in a jail and growing up without my dad, I can honestly say that women have more evil in them than men. I know that if my dad was around when I was growing up I would be a better man. It took me into my late 20's to be able to stand on my own and that was possable only because I joined the military when I was 23. They made a man out of me, something no woman can ever do.
Tragic!
My agency helped a homeless man who suffers from agoraphobia. We found him housing, psychiatric treatment, and helped him attain disability benefits.
While he was homeless he didn't pay any child support. He was obviously unable. Luckily he didn't go to jail, but a percentage of his disability is gone. Even illness is no excuse for our pussified judicial system.
He's a good man who doesn't complain. After all, the money is for his children. As he improves his condition he's hoping for visitation rights. Right now The courts don't think he's mentally stable to take the kids for ice cream on the weekends. He is a man who doesn't have a violent bone in his body and has never been homicidal or suicidal. While he was married he never hurt the children.
I guess if he was woman who killed her husband [ie: Mary Winkler] he would have gotten full custody. His only crime is being born with a penis.
I suspect if he died the courts would have sold the coffin to gain child support payments. No big deal, they could have buried him in a hefty bag.
