UK: False Rape Accuser Gets One Year

'A woman was jailed yesterday after her false claim of rape resulted in an innocent stranger being arrested.

In an attempt to make her family feel guilty following an argument, Kerry Saunders invented a story that she had been sexually assaulted after a night out.

She was overheard making the allegation by a passing police community support officer.

Instead of admitting it was just a story, she told the officer that her attacker was a black man driving a blue car.'

A year is a bit long for this - I hope she appeals the length of it. You see people being convicted of much more serious crimes than this and only getting 6 months or even a community sentence. And she is so young. Stop being so horrid to her.

OH PULLLEEEZZZ Helen. "HORRID" to her. To HER!?

She is a vicious scumbag. False accusations happen WAY to often (no offense to REAL rape victims!) and not just about rape. WHY do they happen? Because they often require no proof and have little to no consequences. A YEAR!? She won't even serve that. Is there a false accuser data base? Why NOT?

Her picture should have accompanied the article to at least warn the men out there that this evil predator exists. God help the man who marries her and then ticks her off when he won't take out the rubbish the very instand she "asks". Any doubt she'll falsely accuse someone else the next time she's angry or wants attention?
