"60 Minutes" Covers Duke Case

Unexpected from a MSM source, but worthy of notice in any case. Story here. Excerpt:
'(CBS) The three Duke lacrosse players indicted for a rape they say they didn't commit are indignant over the effect the charges are having on their lives and their families.
In their first interviews, they speak to Ed Bradley this Sunday, Oct. 15, at 7 p.m. ET/PT.
"Your whole life, you try to, you know, stay on the right path, and to do the right things," says Reade Seligmann. "And someone can come along and take it all away, just by going like that," he says, pointing his finger. "Just by pointing their finger. That's all it takes."'

After It Is Over What Then?
These three male victims of a false rape accusation will be found not guilty or the case will be dropped by the DA.
But what will they do afterward? Will they use the the publicity they have attracted to work for a law to make false rape accusations a crime? I doubt it. They will do the typical male thing and fade away from the view of the public eye. Another opportunity to promote men's right lost.
Yep
"And someone can come along and take it all away, just by going like that," he says, pointing his finger. "Just by pointing their finger. That's all it takes."
Yep.
Duke Travesty
When these three Duke players are found NOT GUILTY of these bogus charges, will feminists still try and manipulate society with the "2%" theory? Less than 2% of women lie about rape? It seems every day a new story is posted on this site refuting that absurd statistic.
I suspect (and hope) this court decision will re-affirm a basic constitutional right: Innocent until proven guilty!
The very fact that these three men have had their faces plastered throughout the media is tragic. They also must wait until spring of '07 when they are finally exonerated of these ridiculous charges. The "alleged" victim? Her privacy will forever be protected.

jesse jackson has stated that regardless of the outcome he'll pay for the remainder of her education.
I wonder if jesse jackson will cover the cost of the 2 lacross players thrown out of college? Maybe he'll help the third player replace the high paying job he lost as a result of her lies.
The Answer to the Question is "Yes!"
Anthony asks -- "When these three Duke players are found NOT GUILTY of these bogus charges, will feminists still try and manipulate society...?"
Ummm, let me think about it.....
Hmmmmmm....
Yep, they will.
Why?
Because feminism is a personality disorder that can be clinically diagnosed simply by observing the contradictions between what women SAY and what women DO.
Women SAY they want independence and equality.
Women DO endlessly seek privileges and entitlements via the Nanny State to put a safety net under their quest for independence and equality.
Women SAY they want to be free of the Evil Patriarchy.
Women DO have no problem with 100% support from Congressional males to pass VAWA.
Women SAY they want to partner with men in a mutually respectful relationship.
Women DO actually believe they are morally, emotionally, and intellectually superior to men, and suffer the indiginities of masculinity only because the Evil Patriarchy makes them.
Women SAY they are liberated.
Women DO exhibit the behaviors of the least liberated human beings on the planet -- i.e. INFANTS.
Please feel free to add your own observations about womens' SAY/DO games!
Posting on Myself ...
I forgot one of the best of the "Women SAY/DO" examples....
Women SAY they want to be with (marry) a sensitive, smart, caring, funny, attractive, nice guy.
Women DO in fact choose bad boys with bad habits, old farts with bad tickers and big cash, and mostly just the biggest ummm.... pussy-addict with a WALLET they can snare.
D.O.J: One in four rape accusations are false!
Wendy McElroy (iFeminists) did an analysis of Department of Justice statistics not too long ago, and determined that false accusations of rape are common. Check out her web site (www.wendymcelroy.com).
She also mentions that the 46% figure often cited by MRA's is somewhat suspect, since it is based on a very narrow study done on students at 2 universities. However, she does mention that the study itself was conducted properly. My guess is that since we now have the phenomenon of "date rape" and heightened awareness on campuses, claims are more likely from these young females than from women in the general populace.
She said more studies need to be done on a wider scale.
That reminds me of my college days. One evening on campus, 2 or 3 male students were hiding behind some bushes, and one of them whispered to a woman passing nearby, "psssttt..hey you, come here!". Apparently that was all that occured..as we were to find out later..
the woman turned out to be one of the editors on the student newspaper (this is a major university), and as you can guess she wrote up a whole article on the 'incident', claiming it was sexual harassment!

"It is only one step from the sublime to the ridiculous, but there is NO ROAD BACK from the ridiculous to the sublime."
I second that
Yep, indeed.
To be fair....
.... It is rarely the victims themselves who use their stories to champion a cause. It is usually some group or political figure looking to snag some votes who grabs ahold of a victim and throws money at them to ride along with them and tell their story while the group who wants the law writes the letters and arranges the press junkets.
Since these groups who use victims names to further their causes usually either are political in nature or get funding from government sources, they have the money they need to get their messages out.
the men's movement does not have that. And we can't seem to get ourselves organized for some good old fashion grass roots fund raising either. So we are a few steps behind.
