Father to Be Freed From Jail After Daughter Fails to Get GED

Story here. Excerpt:

"A judge says he will release a man who was jailed last week for failing to make sure his daughter earned her high school equivalency diploma.

Butler County Juvenile Court Judge David Niehaus' decision Friday would let Brian Gegner out of jail if his 18-year-old daughter Brittany attends a GED preparatory class and schedules the test before the next court date.

Gegner received a 180-day sentence for contributing to the unruliness or delinquency of a minor.

He had been ordered months ago to make sure his daughter, who has a history of truancy, received her GED — something that hasn't happened yet. His daughter has said it's not fair that her father was punished for her behavior."

Jailing the father for the daughter's failure to pass a GED was outrageous. But it also had the consequence of advertising to the world that the daughter is no mental giant. The common knowledge that she failed an attempt to pass a GED examination cannot possibly be good for her future, even if she succeeds later. Why draw attention to this deplorable failure?

This is a good illustration of how playing the victim can completely backfire. Holding others responsible for a failure to get a GED does not inspire confidence. The daughter and father lose in this case. Even with the father's release, the daughter has an indelible public stain on her record. Blaming the father cannot possibly remove this, and even acknowledging one's own responsibility doesn't make this failure any less a failure. It's a failure. She failed. No way to overcome the initial failure. Would you want to hire this woman, knowing that she failed her GED on the first attempt? Everyone knows, thanks to the judge. Game over. Rehabilitation out of the question.

Whenever someone is incarcerated by the state they are under armed guard. In other words they have a loaded gun pointed at their head and if they make the wrong move they will be killed by a fat necked paid killer who will get a 3 day paid vacation for doing it. 3 days is the usual timeframe that it takes to clear a cop who kills.

And to use the threat of lethal force on someone because an adult relation choose not to get a GED is police state tyranny at its worst. And frankly, it was a bit stupid to do it.

the american people. they have lost a system of just laws based on Justice, Fairness, Equality, Honor and Truth handed down by our forefathers, and replaced them with this pitiful excuse. and it is typical.

any man can be imprisoned at any time for any reason. that is the RULE OF LAW in the feminized courts of this land.
