WSJ: At the Barricades In the Gender Wars

I saw this in today's Wall Street Journal at the supermarket, and looked it up online. I couldn't get through the whole thing without puking. The article misstates the reasons why men are reluctant to vote for Hillary, and frames the resistance as "sexist backlash" instead.

Uh, what about men's issues, Hillary. I'd vote for a woman who was evenhanded with regard to men's and women's issues. Excerpt:

'When Sen. Clinton started her presidential campaign more than a year ago, she said she wanted to shatter the ultimate glass ceiling. But many of her supporters see something troubling in the sometimes bitter resistance to her campaign and the looming possibility of her defeat: a seeming backlash against the opportunities women have gained.
...

With the Pennsylvania primary looming on April 22, it's unlikely that workplace tensions over Sen. Clinton's candidacy will abate. On March 5, the day after Sen. Clinton won Ohio, Jackie LeViseur, a fund-raiser at Youngstown State University, arrived at her office to find her female colleagues, mostly secretaries, high-fiving each other and cheering in the hall.

The men, most of them bosses, remained in their offices, looking, says Ms. LeViseur, like their team had lost the football game.

"They might have been a little afraid to speak up," says Ms. LeViseur.'

and that is why men do not like her....

"Although Hillary has achieved a lot on her own, she wouldn't be where she was if not for her husband -- and that isn't an inspiring lesson."

Alexa Steinberg, 25, a graduate student at the University of New Hampshire, says she recognizes "that women only make 78 cents for every male dollar, and there are still hurdles for women that I'll face."

Again, the bogus gender wage gap myth - which is posted on Clinton's website and has been completely shown to be myth.
This woman quotes it as if it is fact.

Lets review.

She's a feminist

She's a racist [I really believe that]

She's ignored the white male demographic and insulted the blacks. These attacks have been the result of surrogates.[ie: Ferraro]

She's plays the victim card.

She made a jackass of herself after her "so-called" gunfire attack, which resulted in a CBS video of Hillary singing at the USO.

She plans to fight for the democratic nomination even if she's behind in delegates and popular vote during the Denver convention. She could severely damage the democratic party.

She supports the VAWA

She supports Title IX

Her equal paycheck act would allow the government to dictate wages.

She lied about NAFTA.

Has failed to release her tax returns.

She's already failed at universal health care as first lady.

What is interesting is that Hillary is now losing the WOMENS's vote!

There is no way she becomes the nominee unless she bribes the super-delegates.

Obama must be the nominee if there will be any future Democratic party.

If the super delegate swindle happens, McCain wins.

Because I will have to vote for a party of honest greed with no vision or soul over a party destroying itself.

Or, not vote at all.

Seriously, we have the power to make it difficult or impossible for a candidate to get elected. One must always vote. Not voting gives the status quo the power. And the status quo sucks.

Look at the democratic party. Men have been abandoning the democrats for a simple reason -- because the democratic party has been screwing us over with gusto while the Republicans go along. I voted (with nausea) for an incompetant George Bush in 2004 because of the statement by John Kerry -- "If elected I will firmly put justice in the hands of women." Nice... John Kerry would've biased the judical system against men, even more than it is.

I have no problems picking the candidate who will harm the entire system over the one who will harm a part of it. Because that part that will be harmed is Men. And don't think I have loyalty to the Republican party. If the enemy of my enemy is my friend, how shall I treat the new found friend who also victimises me? How loyal should I be to that enemy of my enemy?

One thing that needs to happen is that men need to band together as voting blocs. If someone can come to a politician and tell them that they can deliver enough votes to swing an election to them, they will be listened to. We need to be able to come to a newly elected politician and tell them that we helped vote the incumbent out of office, with what numbers, why (because they were anti-male in their voting record and actions), and that we will be watching their voting record with great interest for the next election. Loyalty will be rewarded. Disloyalty will be punished. Oh yeah, if this voting bloc can also throw money at a candidate, we will be more intently listened to. We should know that at least in private, said politician is male-friendly before allowing them any money.

Incidentally, we need to come up with rankings on the performance of politicians. (thinking federally) If someone could come up with list of all bills and how they should've voted with regards to men's issues -- yes/no/don't_care, I (or anyone with programming skills) could come up with a script to pull the voting results from thomas.loc.gov and use it to generate a ranking for each member of Congress. If our newly elected man/woman has a voting record of 25% on men's issues and everyone else in Congress has a record of 5%, I'd advocate keeping them -- for now...

That's all it will take for politicians to listen to us. A good step in the right direction would be to create a PAC and donate to candidates that aren't completely biased against men.

The WSJ is crying over the fact that men are not flocking in droves to vote for the Hildabeast? Hey, here is a clue; the Hillary for Prez campaign strategy NEVER factored in the male vote. They didn't want it and they didn't get it. Of course stating the obvious that alienating approximately 50% of the voting demographic will cause a serious problem with getting elected. The moral of this saga will be if you are serious about getting elected to any public office never put misandry crazed moonbats in charge of laying out your campaign stategy.

EXACTLY why I also held my nose and voted for Bush in 2004.

One good thing that has already come out of this election year is that asshole Senator Joseph "Mad Dog" Biden didn't even get up to the plate in his pathetic bid to become the first malegina President. I guess VAWA will only carry someone so far.

From the article and it is really funny!

"But her campaign has also prompted slurs and inflammatory language that many women thought had been banished from public discourse. Some women worry that regardless of how the election turns out, the resistance to Sen. Clinton may embolden some men to resist women's efforts to share power with them in business, politics and elsewhere."

"Embolden men to resist women's efforts to share power...????"

"Banished thoughts?"

Girls.

You have no idea what is coming next....

And that's why she's losing. On top of that, I agree with what a lot of you have said. She ignored men from the start, she ignored other races, and was hoping to just capture the female vote. What a ridiculous strategy! She forgot that women are only half the population and by alienating the other half she checkmated herself. May Hillary's chance at the presidency die the slow painful death it deserves. Who wants a man-hater in control? And how ridiculous does the term "first man" sound? I guess in Hillary's case, it would be the "first man to cheat on his spouse in the white house." Hey that rhymes! I wasn't even trying. I really was born to be a rapper.

BTW, I had no idea that John Kerry said that. That's what cost him the election. I always wondered why Bush won in 2004. Good thing he did. The justice system is a joke already. Kerry would have made it much worse.

I have said before, and I'll say it again: I will never votefor a woman, in ANYTHING.

Sexist? Probably. But I don't care. I guess I'm bored of women.

Bored of hearing about women's sex lives.
Bored of hearing about women's voting power.
Bored of women's opinions.
Bored of women's attitudes.
Bored! bored! Bored!

Whenever I watch Hilarity from my little dark bedroom (with the curtains closed! 0-) ) I see her standing with women. Women here, women there, women everywhere, and I think "where are the men?"

Whenever she delivers a speech ....women.

Whenever she presses the flesh.....women.

Women women women.

Do men vote in the US anymore?
