International Women's Day: Code for 'Advancing Radical Feminism Around the Globe'

Article here. Excerpt:
'"Today's feminists and CEDAW advocates view 'progress' as government-run day care, greater access to abortion, the elimination of 'Mother's Day' because it promotes an 'negative cultural stereotype,' decriminalization of prostitution in China, and government-mandated workplace benefits that men do not enjoy, just to name a few," said Schlafly. "Their goal is not equality, but preferential treatment."
"The radical feminists want to remake our laws in order to eradicate everything that is masculine from our culture and create a gender-neutral society," concluded Schlafly. "The United States should seriously reconsider lending its stamp of approval to future IWDs."'

Smart Old Bag
When I was 25, I thought Schlafly was a conservative idiot who just did not understand progressive politics.
Two decades of feminism later, she is starting to look real smart.
Was it Mark Twain that said something like - "When I was twenty I was sure my old man was an idiot. Now in my forties, I am amazed at how much that old man has learned!"
I think Twain also said something like - "If you are not radical in your youth, you have no heart. But if you are not conservative in your maturity, you have no brain."
(I might have that quote wrongly attributed...)
Interesting...
What does it tell you when more and more women are noticing the BS that feminism causes? It's like they're becomming like Winston in 1984, who begins to realize that everything in his indoctrinated, dictitorial society is not necessarily as it seems.
