Anton Tripolskii, who was hired at the Kings Point, New York, school as its $142,595-per-year sexual assault response director, sent a June 2020 tweet that's now at the target of a scathing letter from the U.S. House's Anti-Woke Woke Caucus.

"We don’t have forces who do right by survivors of intimate partner and sexual violence because we don’t have forces who don’t abuse Brown and Black people," Tripolskii wrote in the controversial tweet. "Same forces, same reasons. Misogyny and racism grow from the same white, male root."'

'A pro football player accused of rape had his career upended and life ruined over something prosecutors now indicate he could not possibly have done.

Matt Araiza was a top punter in the NFL whose record-breaking NCAA career secured him the nickname "Punt God." Last summer, Araiza was accused along with two San Diego State University football players of gang-raping a 17-year-old at an off-campus party in 2021.

The Los Angeles Times reported that Araiza was accused of having sex with the minor outside the home and then bringing her inside, where she was allegedly repeatedly raped for over an hour.

This week, Yahoo Sports provided detail concerning a newly revealed 200-plus page transcript of a 100-minute meeting in which San Diego Deputy District Attorney Trisha Amador explained the matter to the accuser and her attorneys.

'One common challenge for boys involves their energetic behavior. They receive a disproportionally higher number of punishments for perceived inattention and hyperactivity, according to a report from the American Psychological Association.

'Selfish male bosses are to blame for bad business performance while their female counterparts are perceived to be just victims of bad luck, according to a new academic study of gender stereotypes.

A joint study by the University of East Anglia, University of Melbourne and Monash University in Australia found that “benevolent sexism” – where women are seen as “affectionate and delicate individuals who need to be protected” – was widespread in the workplace.

Researchers added that men were more likely to give women the benefit of the doubt than their own female colleagues.

Participants in the study were divided into groups where one member was designated team leader and asked to make investment decisions.

The remainder were then asked to evaluate their performance based only on the outcome of the leader’s choices and their gender.

While men were blamed for risky behaviour and poor returns, women were more likely to be viewed as unlucky.'

'Students are planning to protest the screening of Birthgap — Childless world, a documentary which blames the “pitfalls of Feminism and the modern dating-world” for “the planet’s collapsing birthrate”. The screening, hosted by a student, will be taking place at St John’s College on 12/05.

In an email sent out via the School of Biological Sciences (SBS) mailing list, the host advertised that the screening would be followed by a Q&A with the filmmaker Stephen J Shaw. In response to concerns voiced on Camfess, she criticised students as having “thrown their rattle out of the pram”. The documentary is Shaw’s first project.

The student host of the event, who has written for the Telegraph, and been featured on GB News, aims “to make students aware of the fast-approaching population collapse”. She hopes “to get high-achieving young people (who are most likely to end up unintentionally childless) to consider factoring in plans for parenthood into their career plans.”'

'Authorities have charged a Florida author of feminist literature with battery after she threw her drink at Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) during a wine festival over the weekend.

Selena J. Chambers, of Tallahassee, was jailed Saturday evening over the incident at the South Walton Beaches Wine and Food Festival. She was slapped with one count of battery on an elected official and one count of simple battery, according to an arrest report from the Walton County Sheriff’s Office.

The 41-year-old Chambers, a Pushcart Prize-nominated writer of feminist horror stories, reportedly cursed out Gaetz and his wife before tossing her drink at the congressman. She then turned and walked away, flipping off the Florida representative.

A witness who was standing next to Gaetz told police that Chambers had been swearing loudly and was also struck with her drink after she threw it.'

'To respect women, feminism should not expect them to be more like men, according to three leading female feminist thinkers.

The three authors with unorthodox views on the topic shared their thoughts on reform at a “Rethinking Feminism” panel discussion at Harvard University on Thursday.

“Is feminism still essential? Absolutely,” Washington Post columnist Christine Emba said at the start of the event. “But let’s get clear on what it means.”

Emba, author of “Rethinking Sex: A Provocation,” said that some of the women she interviewed for her book believed that imitating men, particularly through having casual sex and “fucking like a man,” could overcome the divide between them.

However, Emba said, a feminism that benefits women would be one that values and respects difference.'

The paper published in Psychological Science in the Public Interest looked at two decades of research regarding biases that tenure-track women have faced since 2000. In the end, the authors determined tenure-track women in science, technology, engineering or math were at parity with men in tenure-track positions in the same fields when it comes to grant funding, journal acceptances and recommendation letters.

The scheme for 102 flats to be rented to single women is to be built in west London by a housing association founded in 1920 as part of the suffragette movement.
