'Two lawsuits have been filed against the University of Texas by plaintiff’s who say they were expelled from the university after being accused in sexual assault investigations. They claim the university’s Title IX investigators showed bias against male students by recommending their expulsion without giving them the proper due process.

A passage in the lawsuit says the university has sought publicity and prestige by portraying itself as a national leader in the effort to curb on-campus sexual assault, “The university has a vested interest in expelling as many male students for sexual assault as it can in order to maintain its appearance as a leader in this area.”

“And just remember: there’s a special place in hell for women who don’t help each other,” she said.

Hillary burst out laughing as the audience cheered.

I knew eventually the insufferable old hag would shoot herself in the foot and with this, she's succeeded. Paula Tishok, Gretchen Van Ness, Kendal L. Hopkins and Melissa Behm had appealed to Commonwealth Court to overturn approval the state Department of Education gave to allow the admission of men.

Theirs were not the only voices raised in protest after trustees of the Chambersburg school, citing declining enrollment and debt load, voted in January 2013 to begin accepting male students. The first three men moved into the dorms in August of that year.'

'Male victims of domestic abuse often avoid reporting attacks because they fear being arrested themselves.

More than 700,000 men are thought to experience violence from a partner every year – but new research has shown that they risk counter-accusations.

Dr Jessica McCarrick, a senior lecturer in Counselling Psychology at Teeside University, carried out a study with male victims of abuse. Men are often treated with suspicion by the criminal justice system, she told the Telegraph.

‘To find the courage to speak out, only to be accused of violence themselves, is incredibly disheartening and ultimately prevents countless men from reporting intimate partner violence,’ she said.'

Nationally, the number of women killed through domestic violence is more than double that of men.

But in Cornwall, men made up four out of the five most recent victims.

Authorities there said they have been working to tackle the issue after a review said there could be a "chink in the chain of support for males".

Nationwide, the majority of fatal domestic abuse cases are killings by current or former partners, including heterosexual and homosexual couples.

But the figures also include family members such as siblings and parents - in accordance with the government's definition of domestic abuse.

Then, his ex-wife leveled another accusation of domestic violence. This time, the Dover Police Department found that his court-ordered GPS ankle monitor put him miles away from his ex-wife at the time she said the violence occurred, he said.

After an investigation, the police swiftly cleared him of all eight charges and instead charged his ex-wife with three counts of falsely reporting an incident and one count of providing a false statement.

“I have to think about whether I think it’s necessary to go as far as our military officers are recommending,” Clinton responded.

The idea of having everybody register concerns me a little bit, unless we have a better idea of where that’s going to come out.”'

'Young women in New Hampshire were offended by the way Hillary Clinton uses her gender to garner support, an MSNBC survey revealed Friday.

When MSNBC anchor Tamron Hall asked young female voters about Hillary Clinton’s claim on Wednesday that she is not an establishment candidate because she is a woman, they responded negatively.

One of the respondents said that she did not like how Clinton assumed that her feminism was identical to the feminism of all women.

“I also am a woman. I also face discrimination as being a woman. Her feminism does not represent my feminism, and I think it’s really important to differentiate that,” one young woman said. Her complaint is a common one among young women and reveals a generational divide within the Democratic Party.'

Economist Mark Perry wrote that the median Asian American woman earns only about 3 percent less than the median American man, according to the latest Bureau of Labor Statistics data. The median Asian American woman also earns significantly more than the median black or Hispanic man in the United

"Do those pay disparities reflect gender discrimination against men? Or minority (Asian) privilege?” Perry quipped.

Perry was making a point about how statistics on the gender pay gap tend to be deployed in misleading ways. Full-time working women may earn 79 cents on the dollar compared to men, according to the Census, but that figure doesn’t take into account the gender differences in education and career choices, among other things.'

'Due to the lack a lack of due process rights, politicians and professors are calling for reform of the handling of sexual assault cases on college campuses, but some say the guidelines may not be the problem.

Some politicians like Marco Rubio have made public their belief that due process rights are not being upheld, some going as far as to say that the campuses are siding with the victim before the investigation is completed or even started in one reported case.

Rubio issued a statement about his belief that false accusations can “destroy lives."

“Certainly we should make additional efforts to protect due process on campus,” Rubio said.
Others like Bernie Sanders had strong statements on sexual assault being handled by campuses as well, as he called for reform on Jan. 11.

“Rape is a terrible crime, and the way it’s handled on campuses is insulting,” Sanders said.'

'Two Republican lawmakers introduced a bill Thursday requiring women to register for the draft – in a move meant to take the decision out of the hands of the military so it can be debated in Congress.

Reps. Duncan Hunter of California and Ryan Zinke of Montana said their joint legislation is aimed at provoking a fuller discussion of the Pentagon’s decision to open all combat jobs to women. Top generals for the Army and Marines said earlier this week that women should be required to register for the draft now that combat jobs are being opened to them.

“If this administration wants to send 18, 20-year-old women into combat, to serve and fight on the front lines, then the American people deserve to have this discussion through their elected representatives,” Hunter said in a statement.'
