Woman charged with falsely accusing police officer of sexual assault

Article here. Excerpt:

'A woman who sent a Pennsylvania police officer 102 text messages following a hotel tryst falsely accused him of sexual assault, authorities say.

Michelle Milliron was angry that Officer Mike Foley, who has since resigned, repeatedly ignored her following their sexual encounter on April 12, according to Cranberry Township cops.

"I'm coming for you," Milliron texted, according to the complaint. "So now who has the power? U got one more chance to call me and if you don't I'm going to report you because I'm such a good citizen.

"I'll take you down. It's not a threat it's a promise," the text concluded.'

Australia: Campaign to change Father’s Day to ‘Special Persons’ Day’ so kids without fathers don’t get offended

Article here. Excerpt:

'AN EARLY childhood activist has been labelled “offensive” after suggesting Father’s Day be renamed ‘Special Person’s Day’ so kids without dads wouldn’t feel left out.

Dr Red Ruby Scarlet, an activist with a doctorate in early childhood studies, is pushing for the name change to the annual holiday.

During an interview on Today Tonight Dr Scarlet denied it was case of excess political correctness.

“Why are we calling this political correctness when in fact it’s about our rights?” Dr Scarlet told host Rosanna Mangiarelli.
...
Dr Scarlet, who insisted that was her real name, said that many families without fathers supported the idea.

“We have single parent families, satellite families, extended families, lesbian and gay families,” she said.

Her ideas were met with a stern rebuke from New South Wales Liberal minister David Elliott, who called them “rubbish”.'

Australia: No choice to walk away: When the domestic abuser is your child

Article here. Excerpt:

'Although she feels isolated in her predicament, Sally is far from alone. The little research available on adolescent domestic violence offenders suggests the numbers are significant, though under-reported, and are rising at about the same rate as adult-perpetrated domestic violence.

In NSW, domestic violence incidents involving juvenile offenders make up about 5 per cent of the total incidents reported, but anecdotal evidence suggests most parents will only engage authorities in desperation and as a last resort.

Last year's Victorian Royal Commission into Family Violence found about two-thirds of juvenile offenders were male, and 80 per cent of victims were their mothers.

Adolescent psychologist Michael Carr-Gregg says he is concerned about a connection between violence against mothers and a broader trend of growing disrespect among young males.'

Feminist Law Professors Stand Against Title IX Abuse

Article here. Excerpt:

'Perhaps Title IX started as a good thing, but under the Obama administration, it was broken. Title IX has been used to destroy the lives of numerous men based on allegations of sexual assault with zero evidence or even contradicting evidence. At least one man killed himself, reportedly unable to deal with being labeled as a sexual predator.

However, for those who have been fighting against the stupidity, a surprising ally just emerged. The College Fix reports:

Four self-identified feminist law professors from Harvard filed a submission with the Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights Monday, asking it to bestow “Fairness for All Students Under Title IX.”

Back to school -- and to kangaroo Title IX courts

Article here. Excerpt:

'This month, thousands of college students are heading back to school excitedly looking forward to their Fall semester. For many, this will be a time to meet new people, establish lifelong friendships, and embrace college life to its fullest.

But we wonder how many will be ensnared and destroyed by biased Title IX sexual misconduct hearings occurring on campuses across the country.

Higher education faces many challenges today, and the issue of how to handle sexual misconduct on college campuses is in the forefront. No one denies that sexual assault on college campuses is a serious matter. Yet the prescribed solution by the Department of Education in denying fairness and impartiality eviscerates due process for students facing a Title IX related hearing.

Wake Forest University Launches 'Leave Patriarchy Behind' Club

Article here. Excerpt:

'College administrators absolutely HATE men. We all know this. Almost every college has at least one initiative geared towards mocking men for their “fragile masculinity,” denigrating so-called “toxic masculinity,” or treating men as if they’re all potential rapists, in need of remedial feminist education on how to respect women.

Princeton University, for example, is hiring a “Men’s Engagement Manager” to fight against “toxic masculinity.” Ithaca College, meanwhile, has sponsored lectures on “masculinity and violence,” and Duke University has an ongoing “Men’s Project” designed to teach men how to “begin the work of unlearning violence.”

Those are just a few of the dozens of initiatives colleges host to fight masculinity, many of which are essentially "masculinity re-education camps,” recruiting men into secretive clubs to confess their sins, sacrifice their soul to the feminist gods, and vow never to be chivalrous or tough again.

USDA Biologist Says He Was Discriminated Against As A Man

Article here. To jump the paywall, Google the article title enclosed in quotes. Excerpt:

'A U.S. Forest Service biologist was illegally blocked from participating in networking activities such as events dubbed “Fabric Fridays” and “Running Revolution” because the activities were limited to only women, according to a discrimination suit he filed in Pennsylvania federal court Monday.

The suit by Nathan Welker, which named as a defendant U.S. Department of Agriculture Secretary Secretary Sonny Perdue, alleged that Welker was illegally discriminated against because of his gender in violation of Title VII and because of his age in violation of the Age Discrimination in Employment Act.

Welker claimed in part that the chain of command to which he directly reports is composed almost entirely of women and that he “has been treated differently because he is a male” over the course of his employment.

Canada: Lopsided coverage of sexual assault case conceals parties' true roles

Article here. Excerpt:

'Leslie Nyznik, Sameer Kara and Joshua Cabero: Taken together, the names have a nice multicultural ring to them, as befits a police force in a country committed to the belief that diversity is our strength.

Cultural diversity, however, was not the strength behind the Aug. 9 acquittal of these Toronto police officers, who had been charged with sexually assaulting a junior colleague on the night of Jan. 16, 2015. Hotel security video cameras were their strength. Without video footage that countered key pieces of testimony by the complainant, known as AB, it is highly likely that Nyznik, Kara and Cabero would be facing prison terms of five to 10 years.

UK rape hoaxer gets 10 years in prison

Article here. Excerpt:

'A British woman dubbed an "attention-seeking" liar for falsely accusing 15 men of rape and sexual assault during four separate encounters was sentenced Thursday to 10 years in prison.

Jemma Beale, 25, was found guilty at London's Southwark Crown Court in July on four counts of perjury and four counts of perverting the course of justice, The Sun reported. Judge Nicholas Loraine-Smith called Beale a "convincing liar" who liked being pitied as the victim.

"This trial has revealed, what was then not obvious, that you are a very, very convincing liar and you enjoy being seen as a victim," Loraine-Smith said in court. "The prosecution described your life as a 'construct of bogus victimhood.'"'

Girls Who Code founder: Men build technologies to 'replace their mothers'

Article here. What a misandrist. Excerpt:

'Reshma Saujani is not a coder but she's empowering "an army of young women" to take on tech's gender gap through her nonprofit Girls Who Code.

"I think that this is an opportunity we have to give every single one of our children," Saujani says in a new episode of CNN's Boss Files with Poppy Harlow. "I think the problem is right now, culturally, images that we see are very male. We have to be thoughtful and think about how can we open the door."

Through Girls Who Code, Saujani is helping to bridge the opportunity gap for young girls through after-school and summer immersion programs. Since 2012, the organization has grown from serving 20 girls in New York to nearly 40,000 girls across the U.S.
...
In a statement that Saujani admits is controversial, she argues that empathy tends to be "uniquely female" and is the primary difference between the problems boys and girls choose to solve with the technologies they create.'

Teacher at elite Brentwood School arrested, accused of having sex with an underage student

Story here. Excerpt:

'A teacher at the elite Brentwood School has been arrested on suspicion of having sex with an underage student, authorities said.

Aimee Palmitessa, 45, was taken into custody Friday by detectives, said Tony Im, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Police Department. The alleged victim is a 16-year-old student at the school.

Palmitessa was booked on suspicion of statutory rape — sex involving a minor, Im said. She has since been released on bail, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

She could not be reached for comment Sunday.

Palmitessa is a biology teacher at the private school, one of Los Angeles’ most expensive schools, sources told The Times. She has a PhD in biochemistry and molecular biology and previously taught at Penn State Abington.

Mike Riera, head of Brentwood School, informed parents of the arrest in a newsletter sent out on Saturday and said that officials were “shocked and distressed” over the allegations.

Australian Army reduces physical qualifications significantly to recruit women

Article here. Excerpt:

'Women have to finish just four push-ups in order to pass the Australian Army fitness test, as part of an effort to double the number of female troops.

The initial test consists of just four push-ups and 20 sit-ups, The Daily Telegraph reported.

If women pass the test they are sent off on a seven-week pre-conditioning course, where they prepare for the formal Army recruit course and more rigorous tests.

After the seven weeks of training they need to complete eight push-ups and 45 sit-ups in order to start proper training.

The fitness tests were created with increased female membership in mind, after it was revealed the Australian Army wanted to double its female intake.
...
As part of the push for more female recruits, women needed to promise two years while men needed to give at least six years' service once they signed up in the infantry or artillery.'

Un- and Under-employed Men: Chickens Are Roosting

http://www.cnn.com/2017/08/13/us/white-nationalism-explainer-trnd/index.html

You'd have to be living under a rock not to know about Charlottesville, the white nationalist protesters and the fatal incident that took place there recently, and the counter-protesters that massed in protest.

Indeed, the white nationalists represent a direct challenge to American democracy.  Their numbers are growing.  This is not good.  Counter-protesters predictably appear, and that is good.  If groups proclaiming racial supremacy along with extremist nationalist positions went unchallenged by counter-protests, I'd be very worried for America.  Well, not that I'm not anyway.  But I'd be worried even more.
