CJ writes "The new phase for the Family Violence Prevention Fund is to 'coach' boys into becoming men, the program invites men to help end abuse by teaching boys that violence against women is always wrong. This is good idea, but one sided in approach. Perhaps this well funded organization could include some examples of violence against the male gender and include programs that ensure quality of life for both genders? I found out about this campaign through a banner ad on a high traffic corporate web page. FVPC is getting the word out that they think boys need to be changed. How long will it be before the campaign that states 'boys are bad and abusive' manifests in public classrooms? Lets help ensure gender parity on this issue before our young men are inflicted with more feminist funded psychological abuse."

Here are a three good articles on the war against fathers.
The first and the second (you'll have to click on the link "click here to read" to access them) report on a lawsuit in Canada challenging the government's bias against fathers.
The third is a column in the Toronto Sun that reports on the vicious injustices meted out by the courts to fathers.

Trudy W Schuett writes "Among the other things I do, I'm a moderator at the FictionAddiction forum. This may seem like small potatoes, but it's home to about 800 members and many more visitors. The other day, a feminist posted a work about killing men at the critique forum. I spoke my mind and am tonight getting thrashed for it by both sexes. Help me out here, guys! This is one thing where you can make a clear, immediate difference! Blessings and peace! T_____"

SJones writes "A surprising article (for Reuters) about how witnessing family violence influence both the boy and the girl to an increased likelihood of violence in the future is found here. They are dropping this article down and down in their list as quickly as possible. Since I found it the article has already dropped from 5th story to 8th and disappeared from my screen."

Steve Imparl writes, "I am happy to announce that the inaugural chat at MaleDepression.com will take place on Tuesday, December 3, 2002, at 8:30 p.m. Central Standard Time. (This is Wednesday, December 4, 2002, at 02:30 GMT.) The chat will be held in MaleDepression.com's chat room at this page. This will be our first chat, so it will be a good idea for us to get acquainted with one another. We will talk about our experiences with depression, with particular emphasis on the male experience of this illness and the difficulties we have in seeking and continuing treatment. We'll also explore possibilities for the formats and themes of future chat sessions at MaleDepression.com. I hope you can join us for our first scheduled chat."

Anonymous User writes "Child's Best Interest claims to work toward shared parenting legislation in all states, advocating for both parents (not just fathers and not just mothers). It distances itself from the label "father's rights." Interestingly, 8 out of 10 candidates endorsed by CBI were elected this past election day."

Douglas Rome writes, "Here is the horrifying truth about male suicide in Scotland. The "experts", of course, have no idea why suicide among men is so very many times higher than for women." With the suicide rate increasing 22% over the past 20 years, and the rate of male to female suicides at 3:1, the fact that this issue has been of such low priority for so long is appalling. Also shocking: "For men under 35 in Scotland, suicide is the biggest single cause of death and exceeds the number of accidental deaths"

Anonymous User writes "Wendy McElroy's FoxNews article this week contains some lessons in argument we could all use to our advantage. In it she talks a little about dealing with "emotional bullies" and emotional bullying is something many feminists are really good at. Her article is here and another good article about emotional bullying is here."

Anonymous User writes "One of the biggest mistakes men make when confronted with family court is hiring the wrong lawyer. Dishonest lawyers abound in family law, most of them wanting only to squeeze another buck off an already beaten man. A story on bcentral suggests ways of sorting out the honest lawyers from the dishonest."

Anonymous User sent us this article and writes "Brian Carnell exposes feminist Mary Daly's views on gendercide, her advocacy for killing all men." From the article:
"Daly has long advocated for research into parthenogenesis to dispense with men. Her book, Quintessence is half-science fiction novel, half bizarre manifesto in which she explicitly lays out her views. Daly herself is a character in the book who visits a utopian continent where -- thanks to the influence of Daly's books -- a lesbian elite reproduce solely through parthogenesis....what Daly is advocating here is nothing short of gendercide, and yet Daly is taken seriously by radical feminists."

CJ writes "This Boston Globe article outlines the non-empirical method upon which feminists gather "statistics" that will support their biased view of gender/family relations. The report drew a sharp response from critics, including the chief justice of the family court system, who condemned the study as skewed because it relied on testimony only from women with complaints about custody decisions, not from those satisfied with the rulings. The author goes on to say that men who are abusers (accused of abuse)were often given custody or liberal visitation rights(?). In MA, all a woman has to do is claim 'abuse' and the system often imprisons the father, and in most cases the family courts strips him of constitutional rights as a result."

ppmnow sent us this article from the News Tribune and writes "A custody battle, an exchange of words, and an innocent woman shot dead...by another woman. Clearly feminists are becoming much less clever at hiding their violence, and no longer afraid of shooting their own gender." The murderer was Lorraine Laxton, who formerly chaired the Federal Way Domestic Violence Task Force. She left this position "abruptly," as co-workers were concerned about her " frightening temper and penchant for carrying handguns." Thanks also to Mark Rosenthal for submitted this version from the Seattle Times.
