This article discusses how men in New Zealand have been emasculated by government. Discarded and down-trodden.

equalitarian62 writes "Today I found an online article in MSN titled "The Black Gender
Gap." Apparently, misandry and anti-male bias is even worse in the
black community. The article is here:
http://www.msnbc.com/news/875614.asp
I'm not against black women advancing so much as the way they put black men down in this article. For example, saying that educated professional black women face a choice of being alone or "settling" for less-educated black men several steps below them. How condescending.

starzabuv writes "Actually, since I just heard it on the 10:00 pm news, there isn't anything in print yet. Just an FYI to keep your eyes open for the story. First she stabbed the guy in the arm, then ran him over, breaking both of his legs. He's recuperating at Herman Hospital in serious condition, and she is on the run in a white ford taurus stationwagon. Since men have known these things happen all the time but the stories of women's violence are either suppressed or glossed over by blaming the man, maybe we are seeing a new trend in reporting? Maybe. Maybe not."

Red Kev writes "Found this article via the Angry Harry Website

Harriet Harman wants a change to the Law in the UK whereby Provocation should no longer be a valid defence in a Murder trial. However, while reading the article it is quite clear, in my opinion that what she is actually advocating is for female on male murder to be legalised. Shocking."

Thundercloud. writes "Just a little 'heads-up', for everyone.
I just saw on "ENTERTAIMENT TONIGHT" that yet another "women gang-up on and get "revenge" on a man" movie is comeing out, soon.
It's the standard premise:
Man cheats on the woman, abuses the woman, or is just a "jerk" to the woman. of course this is the "excuse" that is given to justify women commiting crimes and illeagle acts against men. this film features the usual stuff. The women beat up and kidnap the man and keep him bound and gagged to a bed while they humiliate, touture and physicaly abuse him. blah, blah, blah. Things that NO movie today would EVER depict being done to a woman.
Aparently, women LOVE these male-bondage/hate films, and that is why the same type of film is made again and again.
Here's the kicker. I don't know what the name of the movie is. All I know is that it stars an all hispanic cast.
We need to keep an eye out for this flick, then give thje producers HELL for it, without mercy!!
TC."

Here is something that discusses the other side of the coin. Not intending to offend any other of our posters who are not caucasian. But, I wanted to post this to see how everyone feels on how white men feel they are getting the shaft. My intention is to bring us closer together. Enjoy.

CodeMonkey writes "The Massachusetts state budget allocated to prostate cancer research and awareness has gone from $3.2 million a few years ago to NOTHING today. According to this MetroWest Daily News article, 765 men in MA died of this disease in 2000. What's even more sickening about this is that state funding for breast cancer is barely being cut, to about $3 million. Breast cancer killed 1,055 women in 2000. The injustice of this, and the discrimination it amounts to, are absolutely incredible. Where is the public outcry from Mass. men and medical professionals?"

I really enjoyed this Ray Peterson commentary, maybe you will too. It rings true for todays man. "The husband meanwhile is without support, resources, friends or legal protection while he lives in his parent's basement or in his car and wonders what the hell happened."

I thought this might be an interesting topic for discussion. Dresscodes for men in the office. Are 'ties' sexist? This news story shows how english men are taking it to challenge. Read here.

This article describes a crisis that French men are allegedly experiencing. The piece is based on a survey conducted by Elle magazine. It repeats several of the tired feminist lies (lies in the US and probably in France) such as the claims that women make less than men and that women are the main victims of domestic violence.
The author states that "One gets the impression that a new war of the sexes is emerging." These bozos have no idea what's coming as the result of decades of anti-male hatred and lies.

mcc99 writes "Well, here goes MSN again!
Note MSN articles and commentaries fairly lavish "man" and "men" on the people they describe when those people are doing something wrong or in some way judged negatively. Note that when they do things judged positively, they are called "people" or referred to by their occupations or relationship to others.
This is one egregious example. I am sure we have all seen others not quite as bad, just as bad, or worse elsewhere.
When, oh, when, will MSN stop hating men?"

alphamale writes "Here is an interesting story
stating that pregnant women and their fetuses are at risk as victims of domestic violence. While I am sure that pregnant women and their unborn babies may rarely be hurt by a partner, I suggest to you that thru the heinious crime of abortion, an unborn baby's greatest threat of violence is from its mother!
Why does society continue to ignore this blatant form of pre-meditated violence on an innocent victim?" Dan's note: "Here is another opinion column (I say "opinion" as it is void of any fact) to give you an idea how far and wide this spreads in the media regardless of country. In short it is "Short and Sensational" rag mag writing merely cashing in on the dissappearance of Laci Peterson. Everything the author asserts doesn't stand up to scrutiny. In short more unfounded demonization of men. I wrote the author and editor a letter maybe you can too.
