Hoax Bombs have been sent to various places in the UK , such as court houses, family offices etc.. The target for blame is at the Fathers' Rights Movement. Well, it is quite well known among the followers of Erin Pizzey of how she was constantly threatened with bomb threats while on her book tour. In fact Erin needed armed guards to escort across the UK. We know that Radical Feminists can be very militant, this web site has links to many of their violent protests especially with Senator Anne Cools. Make no mistake these bomb hoaxes real or not will only increase a police state in an already increasingly totalitarian society. This is huge in my opinion and will create laws to further oppress the movement. Wether it's a smear campaign against men, or; a men's group or individual becoming desperate enough to do the hoax, this will change things. Warble has described false accusations by feminist organizations as a standard procedure. I think we should consider the various alternatives and deal with them.

Here at MANN, activism is literally our middle name. As such, we have challenged ourselves and our readers to make the most of Farrell's candidacy for governor to spread the word about men's issues. Over at the grassroots center, we're putting up a new challenge every day, and a new weekly challenge every week, that will help to spread the word about men's issues and lead to greater consideration towards them from politicians in the future. Will you take the challenge?
08-21 to 08-30: This week's Weekly Activist Challenge is to write up an article that discusses Farrell's campaign and submit it to at least 4 media outlets for publishing, ideally located in California. Note that this week's challenge has been extended to run until next Sunday.
Archived challenges can be found here.
If you'd like to contribute some daily, weekly, or campaign long challenge ideas, please let us know.
Know of someone who's gone above and beyond the call of duty for Farrell's campaign? Let us know about that too!

Philalethes writes "Art Lemasters over at MND has a very interesting article on the suppressed early history of what we now know as the feminist movement: 'Susan B. Anthony: Racist Manipulator.' This censored history (written, as always, by the victors) needs to be returned to the public eye: 'When mentioning feminism, people often write about those good, moderate feminists--feminist leaders of the 1800s. Let's go Web surfing. You might be really surprised at what we'll find.'"

The Gonzo Kid writes "Graham Hays asks in this article, Why don't men watch women's sports?" Okay, Graham, let's try this slowly: They play like girls. They're not good. They are playing a game designed by man, to test the limits of the male physique, and the best professional women's team would be hard pressed to win a series against a small college men's team. It's like a picture of a pregnant man - it's just wrong. Let them play in the NFL or the NBA, (And not on an affirmative action free pass) and I'll be impressed - until then, we have seperate women's leagues, well, because we need them. Because they can't run with the men. Sorry, but them's the facts."

And I say "our" , because it is our's. The ideals of Men's Activism News Network are simple. Its not complex even if the issues we tackle are. Every once and a while the administrators of this board like to post this page Please go here. In keeping with the tradition that MANN hopes to create I hope all posters take five minuts to read this. This of course is not to stifle debate or censor anyone's feelings, but the one thing it does encourage is 'empathy'. Not just for men, but for women and all races and individuals of all sorts. Still encouraging you to speak your mind, but please consider the posts you submit and it's relevance to our cause. One of the smallest poems ever spoken was by Muhammad Ali, it goes "Me, We". Our war is an ideological one and their weapon is hate, not ours. We need to nuetralize it, not inflame it. And to remind you, there is no end to our appreciation of your contributions. We will continue and we will love, laugh and smile as we do it. :)

CPM writes "Rowdy Bride Spends Night In Jail Wow! She sure didn't waste any time showing her true personality. Pity it wasn't before the wedding, so the poor sap might have been able to change his mind. Every guy considering marriage should read this story and take a long hard look at this chick's ugly mug. There is a good chance that this is what your little cupcake will soon reveal herself as. This one could barely wait until the wedding. Of course there were other hooligans in this group, but since this is HER special day, lets give all the attention to her just like she wants it." Ray also submitted this tory and said "I find it very biased that the words "domestic violence" were never once used in the telling of this story. Perhaps this new bride was just trying to clearly state here empowerment over any semblence of male oppression

amperro writes "I came across the following article on the web by Jenny Skoble, an apparent enemy of men. Does anyone truly believe that feminists support paternity fraud for the benefit of children? Or do they just want to be able to lie, cheat, and steal with total impunity?"

The Mens Activism News Network is challenging its readers to take part in our grassroots campaign to support Farrell's candidacy and put men's issues on the political map. A new page has been added to this site, (see the new link at the bottom of the activism section to the right), which will list the daily, weekly, and campaign long activism challenges we encourage everyone to participate in. The time until the election is short, so lets make the most of it by redoubling our activist efforts for the few weeks we have. Together we can make a difference, let's do so!

Acksiom writes "A Delhi biomedical engineering professor has developed a new male contraceptive that looks very promising!
According to the Alternet article at http://www.alternet.org/story.html?StoryID=16617 :
"The injection coats the vas with a clear polymer gel that has a negative and positive electric charge. Sperm cells also have a charge, so the differential charge from the gel ruptures the cell membrane as it passes through the vas, stopping the sperm in their tracks before they can even start their journey to the egg.""

I posted this because it might make men feel there is some good out there. The author of this article is making an argument that the latest Terminator movie is "Anti-Feminist". I seen the movie and I thought the exact same things and a few more. Careful not to confuse anti-feminist with anti-women, because the movie is not anti-woman in any regards. To make it simple the robots represent the "system" and its almost as if the system is "feminist". Maybe Cameron's divorce gave him a view at the biased nature of our environment? Read Here.

Analog Worms writes "It seems that the feminist controlled Department Of Trade And Industry in the UK is suffering from a male backlash against it's blantant anti-male rules. A small group of male workers have written a pamphlet called the backlash which exposes the lies within the department. Read about it here.
