In this disgusting story we read that:
"Cecelia Schneider, a high school mathematics teacher, is accused of child endangerment and aggravated sexual assault. "
and
"Complaints against Schneider, suspended with pay from her job as a mathematics teacher at Monmouth Regional High School, Tinton Falls, allege that in 2002 she performed oral sex on the boy and produced and distributed child pornography, specifically a photograph of herself with the toddler.

Benjamin Adam Studtmann writes "Straight from the shoulder: A teacher, frustrated by her 'unruly' students, forced twenty of them to lick toilet floors. Here we again see the advanced, more evolved nature of modern femininity. It is becoming a cliched rhetorical question, but how would people have reacted, both locally and in the media, if the teacher in question had been male? Would a simple apology clear up the matter then? I don't think so, but I would love to be proved wrong..."

"I think you're getting the deal of the week," Arnold said. "If you were a man standing in front of me we would not be talking about misdemeanor probation; we'd be talking about how many years you're going to prison." said the judge. Time for a CLASS ACTION SUIT I think.... read all about it

Benjamin Adam Studtmann writes "I simply never would have thought of this spin on modern life. Here we have an article from the BBC explaining that if a woman is put in charge and the business does badly, it does NOT mean that the woman was in any way unsuitable for the position; it means that her promotion was actually an act of discrimination by the Old Boys' Network, to try and MAKE the business fail. You see, now that the glass ceiling is dissolving, we males have constructed 'glass cliffs' instead. As Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Dave Barry has often noted, 'I am not making this up'."

Ahh, MSN again. Just amazing. This latest has it all: stereotyping, men-as-means-to-an-end, and on and on. But I will say that it does lack the usual "men suck and are basically evil" fare that MSN, et al., usually serves up, substituting it this time for a men-as-sexual-tools theme.
Suppose they will publish an article tomorrow entitled "Top Five Reasons to go for a Younger Woman"? Nah.

Benjamin Adam Studtmann writes "Apparently being one of the most brilliant men on earth earns one the right to get penalized for it by one's ex-wife in divorce court. The judge ruled that since his ex's future career prospects were 'paltry and stagnant', that his prize money should be regarded as income for her to take. He's more successful, she's less successful, so therefore his wealth becomes hers. A breathtaking demonstration of The New 'Equality'."

asking them to consider doing a show advocating men's rights.
We NEED this show. You NEED to contact them and ask for the same thing. As a channel for men, they continue to reinforce the negative stereotypes of masculinity with shows like "Stripperella"."

Benjamin Adam Studtmann writes "Rather ironically in regards to the immediately previous entry concerning the total and absolute prohibition on teacher/student contract, particuarly emphasized towards men, we have this heartwarming tale of a female schoolteacher harassing several of her students with endless pornographic messages, as well as forcing the class in general to discuss her sexual habits with her boyfriend. Clearly, a total, modern woman. Oh, by the way -- the case against her was completely dismissed due to court irregularities. How handy! How fitting! How standard! How obscenely offensive to any sapient two-legged organism with the faintest concept of human equality!"

Benjamin Adam Studtmann writes "Fresh in from Scientific American, we have an excellent article examining male and female mortality -- right from the get-go, they are quite emphatic that an enormous number of social factors are to blame for males' early demise; it is not purely a question of longevity being linked only to physiology of gender."

Anon User writes "The paper Risk anxiety in the classroom: teachers touching children explores the logic behind the idea that teacher-to-student touching (no matter how "innocent") must be considered suspiciously and must be avoided. (Without mentioning gender, it should be quite obvious that teachers of a certain gender have to be more careful about this...) There is the issue of avoiding false accusations, but the authors refer to the perceptions of risk and danger in society. It is said that "no touching" policies have lead to such situations as male teachers afraid to pick up injured students lying on sports fields. Basically, this report talks about why teachers end up being warned about touching students and the effects that can result from rules and fears about touching students."
