al_nbd writes "A CNN journalist in his blog tries to analyse why crime stories where victims are white females receive much more coverage in media than others. More than a hundred people left their commentaries on this topic. The absolute majority of commentators agree that it's not fair when lives of white females are valued more than other lives. But they think that it's not fair only in respect of FEMALES OF OTHER COLORS, NOT MALES. Below is a commentary reflecting the general mood:
"If the "socially concious" media made an effort to report disappearances of ALL women, it would effect what your viewers are interested in. Last I checked, your audience is made up of many non-whites, including myself. I feel insulted that CNN might not value my disappearance or that of any other woman of color."
Misandry is becoming more and more deeply rooted in the western society.

Anonymous User writes "This is infuriating! Another coed lies about rape and gets off scott free! We need to start punishing females that lie about rape with severe penalties... excerpt:
'Police do not know why the woman, whose name was not released, concocted the story.
The woman will not face criminal charges for filing a false police report, Ferrell said.
"I do believe the psychological effect of having to talk to her parents, because they supported her and believed in her that this did occur...will have more of an impact on her than me filing charges on her or having charges filed on her," Ferrell said.'"

Anonymous User writes "Prostitutes in the Daytona Beach area are arming themselves and teaming up in order to hunt down and murder a serial killer on the loose. Strangely, the local police appear to have no objection. If a group of men were to try the same thing I wonder what the authorities would have to say about it...Hmmm..."

Clancy writes "
March 10, 2006— More and more American women are swapping briefcases and office suits for dungarees and diaper bags as they opt to stay home and raise children, putting the brakes on decades of female advances in the workplace."
Ed. note: Notice how this is described, "putting the brakes..." Also, they don't discuss who is financing these women's choice to stay home. Do their husbands really have any choice to stay home vs. go work? Then what choice do they have when their wives leave them and stick them with the alimony and C/S debt?

Return of the King writes "Harvey Mansfield, conservative political theorist and academic provocateur, argues that women--and society--need to come to terms with 'manliness' - The gender-neutral society is by definition a mediocre one, with male greatness viewed as threatening to the social order and men and women crammed into boxes they don't fit in."

John Fleming writes "This video (.mpg file) explicitly reveals a mother/wife violently abusing her kids and husband. She has gotten away with it. She has never been prosecuted or even reprimanded for it. She made false allegations of abuse A FEW HOURS after learning of the existence of the video by DYFS. The father is the one that is called the abuser after submitting the video to DYFS and the police. The father has not been with his children in three years. Please note that this is a small segment of the full video that is under complete control of victim. Main page: http://johnflemingmps0.tripod.com/"
Ed. note: Opening the web site includes the playing of an audio file, so if viewing at work or elsewhere public you may want to turn your speakers down. Also, the video clip is a must-see.

arindamp writes "The fear of being branded a girly swot has long been cited as the reason some boys fail their examinations. Now this may be presented as evidence in an American schoolboy's landmark lawsuit. In a federal civil rights action brought this month, Doug Anglin, a 17-year-old lawyer's son, is arguing that his country's education system is institutionally sexist.
He claims that American teachers push girls into top streams while discriminating against boys, creating an atmosphere in which boys inevitably fail.
With the help of his parents, he is suing the United States Department of Education.
The complete story."

Here's an excerpt from the article.
Robert J. Shoop, professor of education at Kansas State University, has studied teacher sex abuse for 15 years and has written a book on the subject. He said his review of five years of news reports shows that male teachers are likely to get 15 to 20 years in prison, while female teachers typically are placed on probation or go to prison for one to three years.

charger writes "Rutgers University (State University of New Jersey) which just announced a major reorganization of its main campus, preserves the only public single-sex college left in the United States. With the number of men attending college declining, one would hope that there would be programs for men at Rutgers, but that would be politically incorrect."

Natalia writes "Not quite sure what topic this would go under, but it was for Standyourground.com. A few months ago I was glancing through a Vanity Fair that my mother had bought and an advertisement for Rolex had caught my eye, or rather, the slogan had. "Ice is like a man's ego. Fun to crush." I wasn't particularly offended, but I believed that it was a horrible message to be sending to women. I have not been able to locate a contact for them to comment on it directly and I'm not sure if anyone has yet even if the advertisement is old, it is out of turn.
Thank you for your time."
Ed. note: Reverse the sexes in the ad and see how it would go over. It seems magazines like Vanity Fair and other "women's magazines" will go places in topics, writing, and advertising that "men's magazines" would not dare to tread.

Anonymous User writes "While in no way do I condone what this teacher did, will you look at the HUGE deal they are making about a text message. The male teacher was arrested, fired, and may be stripped of his teaching credential. The "victim" in this story is devistated and in need of counselling. Funny that when boys are the victims of actual physical rape by their female teachers, the words "victim," "stripped of teaching credentials," "counselling," etc. never seemed to get used."

Anonymous User writes "Sound fishy to you? David Hasselhoff's wife claimed domestic violence AFTER the divorce proceedings had started. Who wants to bet this was yet another bogus DV charge made up by an ex-wife for advantage during divorce? AMAZINGLY, NO RESTRANING ORDER WAS ISSUED! Now that we have two male celebrities inside of week being nailed with fake DV charges the public will start to pay attention?
Maybe one man can make a difference?"
