13-YO Girl Recants Gang Rape Allegation

Anonymous User writes "Here we go again, another female recanting a gang rape charge. This girl lied to Illinois police claiming she was raped by a group of seven teenage boys last month in an apartment complex laundry room.

Of course, the police are not even bothering to charge her with filing a false report. She gets "counseling" while the boys will get a permantly damaged reputation. The sad part is that we still do not know the accuser's name. When are we going to start punishing females for heinous actions like these?"

Not Attempted Murder?

Anonymous User writes "This woman stabbed her husband's ex-lover 17 times and is acquitted of attempted murder but found guilty of grevious bodily harm.

How can you stab someone 17 times and not intend to kill them?"

Ed. note: Some may ask how this relates to men's rights issues as such. This is an example of how a person's femaleness is taken into consideration implicity and without true relevance to the matter at hand-- had this been a man killing another man under similar circumstances, can anyone doubt that he would be found guilty of murder and sentenced commensurately with the ferocity of the crime? The problem here is that the sex of the perp has obviously been taken into account when viewing the question of her level of accountability for her actions, and she has in essence been largely let off the hook simply because she is a woman.

Death of a Hero: Peter Law

AngryMan writes "UK: The Member of Parliament Peter Law, has died of a brain tumour at 58. A life-long Labour Party supporter, he was the MP for Blaenau Gwent, Labour's safest seat in Wales. However, in the May 2005 election, the Blair government decided to impose all-women shortlists for election candidates, a blatant feminist-inspired attempt at election rigging. Law decided to stand as an independent against the official Labour candidate, Maggie Jones, even though he had been diagnosed with a brain tumour. Rumours are surfacing that the Blair government tried to bribe him with a peerage (a seat in the unelected upper house) if he agreed not to oppose them. He refused, fought the election, and won by a landslide, delivering a slap in the face to the feminists and to Blair. What happened to Maggie Jones? As one of Tony's cronies, she was given a peerage. His illness finally caught up with him. His widow is considering standing next time to continue his work in upholding democracy. RIP Peter Law, a politician with integrity. We need more like him."

Male Suicide

bulldogo.1 writes "While it's great this is finally being acknowledged, the response is hardly encouraging. A quarter of a century to stamp out male suicide? 25 years? Imagine if this was about female suicide.

On top of that it'll be hard actually dealing with the problem, as its causes (parental alienation, toxic feminist social engineering, female driven divorce etc.) aren't politically correct enough to be made public.

Also, newspapers don't report lone male car accidents etc., with no other evident cause, as suicide so the actual number is definately way higher."

Teen Pregnancies and Sperm Count

This article is something of a follow-up to other posts under "Men's Health" on the same or a related theme. It suggests that the likeliest reason for the recent drop in teen pregnancies is not the effects of abstinence or education programs, but instead from the steady and significant decline in human sperm count over the past 100 years, which doesn't seem to be slowing down. Even worse, since the causes are likely to be environmental and irreversible for the near future, we may not be able to stop this phenomenon in time to keep it from becoming a serious threat to our species.

"Why women don't relax"

AngryMan writes "More bizarre drivel from Germaine Greer to the effect that a woman's work is never done. "The typical world citizen - who is still female, illiterate and an unpaid family worker - knows only too well that if she is ever to be seen with her hands in her lap, a job will be found for her."

Yes, Germaine. It's time for your medication now."

Woman drugs, molests stepson, gets 20 years

dschmidt writes "WFAA is reporting that a Tyler, TX woman who molested her then 14 year old stepson while supplying him with drugs and alcohol has been sentenced to 20 years in prison.

Note the article refers to "an affair" and "a relationship" rather than repeated molestation/statutory rape/rape due to the victim being under the influence."

Duke Case: Mike Nifong Wins Primary

Misandrope writes "Mike Nifong has won the Durham NC Democratic Primary for DA. There being no Republican opposition, he will continue as DA in the Duke Lacrosse case. I see this as a loss for men, because in my opinion the case has been trumped up for votes, and is mostly based on predjudices against the accused men. Nifong orignally based his case on his claim that he would absolutely find DNA from the purported rapists. I wonder, how would you tell DNA from a paying client from DNA from a rapist? But there wasn't any DNA. More here."

UK: Conservatives Seek to Protect Accused Teachers

AngryMan writes "False accusations against male teachers are reaching epidemic proportions over here. In 2003, teacher Alastair Wilbee committed suicide after being accused of a sex offence against a boy. Now the Conservative Party is calling for greater protection for accused teachers, including anonymity. Story here."

The Pendulum of Rights?

Misandrope writes "I keep getting told that there is a mythical pendulum of rights that was very in favor of men at one point, that now has swung in favor of women, and against men - but just how long has the pendulum favored women? Over 111 years, I found out."

"Mom gets probation for gun at school"

Hard to believe, or is it? Read it here. Excerpt:

Cozad was in assistant Principal Martha Beseau Bock's office Oct. 11 at Park Glen Elementary School in Fort Worth to discuss her son's one-day suspension for a fight on a school bus, according to Fort Worth police reports. Park Glen is in the Keller school district.

After the door was closed, Cozad took a handgun and holster from her purse and placed it on a shelf near the assistant principal, according to reports.

No shots were fired, and Cozad left the office with the gun, police said.

She got probation. Wonder what 'dad' would have drawn at court had he done the same thing?

"Sexpo" in Australia features re-enactment of Bobbit Assault

Tirryb writes "News.com.au reports here that a "sex expo" in Perth, Australia is opening a Sex Train Ride - kind of like a ghost train, but with simulated sex scenes instead of coffins and skeletons.

Nothing wrong with that, until you reach this paragraph:

'And then there's the reenactment of the infamous 1993 Bobbit attack, in which American woman Lorena Bobbitt cut off part of her husband John's penis.'"

Student Claims Colleges Teach Male-Discrimination

Doug Baker writes "Missouri’s second largest college is charged with teaching male-discrimination. As part of a course, a male student says, 'the class was assigned to read and discuss 96 pages of text that denigrated men and elevated women, which I believe discriminated against males. I was then denied educational opportunities when the school provided no way to avoid the discrimination except to drop the class. Similar data is being taught in other courses and throughout higher education nation-wide. The government has failed to objectively investigate my complaints.'
