Article here:
'The arrest of two women teachers on charges of having sex with their male students has brought cries of lingering racism in one of South Carolina's most conservative counties and evoked some of the South's oldest and deepest-seated racial taboos.
Both women are white. The boys - six in all - are black.
...
"If this had been black teachers, they would not be out of jail right now," said Corinnie Young, a 49-year-old bookstore employee who is black.
Some blacks shudder to think what would have happened if the teachers were black men and the students were white girls.

At the risk of sounding like one of those MSM people who spend more time pointing up the flaws of other media outfits rather than reporting news, I just have to post this. Now given that the two combatants were female, what happens? No one is fired. Now of course had this been a male-female case, or a male-male case, one or both people (most likely all males) would have been sacked that day. But when the violaters are both women? The system freezes up and shuts down, incapabale of handling the paradoxes. Net result: an assault is not redressed, and the double-standard goes on merrily unchecked. Excerpt:
'A catfight at The New York Times Friday still has staffers in shock.
The dustup between two female editors in the Styles department disrupted work on the Thursday and Sunday Styles sections as co-workers froze at the fracas.

Article here. Excerpt:
'U.N. health agencies recommended Wednesday that HETEROSEXUAL men undergo circumcision because of "compelling" evidence that it can reduce their chances of contracting HIV by up to 60 percent.
...
The public health impact is likely to be most rapid where there is a high rate of HIV infection among men having sex with WOMEN.'
SO BASICALLY ME MUST CONCLUDE THAT MEN SHOULD BE MUTILATED FOR THE SAFETY AND PLEASURE OF WOMEN. HMMM, ISN'T FEMALE CIRCUMCISION WRONG BECAUSE ITS DONE FOR THE BENEFIT OF MEN?

'A British servicewoman detained along with 14 other sailors will be released "within a day or two",...
Faye Turney is the only woman among the eight Royal Navy sailors and seven marines [taken prisoner]...'
BOY, THEY SURE PLAY THE WOMAN CARD WHEN IT SUITS THEM. MEN TRULY ARE CONSIDERED EXPENDABLE.

File this article in the 'bizarre' category. I had to post it mostly because the idiot agreed to pay $1,250 a month for the rest of his ex-wife's life (which is always fun when the guy statistically dies first, hey, she's still alive, who cares if the guy is dead, she needs her money). Especially when you consider how much sex-change operations costs, I wonder how the court justified her needing the money. Excerpt:
"Lawrence Roach agreed to pay alimony to the woman he divorced, not the man she became after a sex change, his lawyers argued Tuesday in an effort to end the payments. But the ex-wife's attorneys said the operation doesn't alter the agreement."

Disparities in sentencing based on gender?? Never! Well, maybe... read it here. Excerpt:
'Lynn Turner could have faced the death penalty for the 2001 murder of Randy Thompson, a Forsyth County firefighter and father of Turner's two children. Instead, the jury sentenced her to life in prison without parole.
She was already serving a life term following her 2004 conviction in the antifreeze death of her police officer husband Glenn Turner in 1995.
Lynn Turner maintained her innocence in both cases and did not testify at trial or during her sentencing hearing Monday.
Prosecutors said she was motivated by greed for the victims' life insurance money.'

Story here. ERA is a controversal topic even among MRAs. Supposedly the wording insists on gender-neutrality for all laws and legal standards, which in many ways would be progress for men-- however, as we know, when it comes to equality under the law, women are viewed as "more equal" than men, if not out and out just not subject to the same standards at all. My own take is that there is no way a law, even a constitutional amendment, guaranteeing gender-blindness in the law will actually work in any way for men, as long as our society and legal system remains permeated by misandry. Excerpt:
'(CNSNews.com) - Liberal Democrats in the Senate and House plan to resume "the fight for women's equality" on Tuesday, when they reintroduce the Women's Equality Amendment.
Sens. Ted Kennedy (Mass.) and Barbara Boxer (Calif.) and Reps. Carolyn Maloney and Jerrold Nadler, both of New York, plan to join Eleanor Smeal, president of the Feminist Majority, in making the Tuesday afternoon announcement.'

Several weeks ago, Askmen.com ran an article extolling feminism and its benefits. Several members from here posted their comments and voted on the article. After that, Askmen.com ran article about media bias against men. Several members from here again left their comments and voted on the article. Now, Askmen.com has run another pro-male article. An Editor's Note confirms that pretty much everything a woman said about her tour of duty was a fabrication:
"The cover article in The Times Magazine on March 18 reported on women who served in Iraq, the sexual abuse that some of them endured and the struggle for all of them to reclaim their prewar lives. One of the servicewomen, Amorita Randall, a former naval construction worker, told The Times that she was in combat in Iraq in 2004 and that in one incident an explosive device blew up a Humvee she was riding in, killing the driver and leaving her with a brain injury. She also said she was raped twice while she was in the Navy.
... Based on the information that came to light after the article was printed, it is now clear that Ms. Randall did not serve in Iraq, but may have become convinced she did."
Notice the editor's presumption that the woman did not blatantly lie, no that's not possible. She must just have been confused about the truth. Poor thing!

Domestic violence laws have been shown to be completely ineffective in stopping partner abuse, but highly effective in violating civil liberties, destroying families, and depriving children of their fathers.
Recently the Law on Gender Violence in Spaincame under scathing criticism from chief judge Maria Sanahuja, who said the law has brought about the “massive detention of men for scarcely any reason” which she condemned as “characteristic of totalitarian countries” and “a repugnant violation of fundamental rights.” See the judge’s comments here.
Two weeks ago we asked you to contact Senator Richard Lugar to speak out against the International Violence Against Women Act, a law that would export the U.S. Violence Against Women Act to countries around the world.
This week, we are asking you to contact Senator Lugar again, highlighting the massive civil rights violations that domestic violence laws are causing, both in the United States and abroad.

Essay here.
This article challenges Lis Wiehl's new book: "The 51% Minority". Wiehl's book is being heavily promoted on FOX's primetime news lineup. The blatant hypocrisy of her book, combined with numerous fallacies has finally been exposed.
Excerpt:
"To say that women need more rights, as Lis Wiehl claims, is akin to saying that fish need more water. In fact, women, by hijacking the Constitution, are swimming in rights and consequently:
* Own reproductive rights
* Get presumed child custody, child support, and alimony
* Are rewarded for fraudulent maternity
* Can falsely and feloniously accuse men, with impunity, of domestic violence and rape
* Are legally protected when assaulting and injuring men."

Well, this is good news! Excerpt:
'March 25, 2007 — Another voice has joined the call for a federal investigation into the handling of the Duke Lacrosse case — this one with the punch of presidential politics.
Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., in a written response to a constituent, said that an "independent inquiry is needed" into the conduct of Durham District Attorney Mike Nifong.
...
According to Obama's letter, Jones asked Gonzales to "review new evidence that Mr. Nifong withheld exculpatory DNA results from the defendants in order to determine if his conduct has illegally denied the students their civil rights as U.S. citizens under federal law."'

A study done in Sweden suggests a deterioration of the quality of life for people of both sexes entailed by feminist-inspired changes in society.
No sooner is this the suggestion though than the author asserts the real problem is that not enough has been done to enact "the revolution" and so more must be done. Where have we heard this before?
Excerpt:
'The report said: "The results suggest an unfortunate trade-off between gender equality as we know it and public health.
"Sweden may have reached a critical point where further one-sided expansion by women into traditionally male roles, spheres and activities will not lead to positive health effects unless men also significantly alter their behaviour.
"Negative effects of this unfinished equality might be found both for women, who have become more burdened, and men, who as a group have lost many of their old privileges."
Anastasia de Waal, head of family policy at the British think-tank Civitas, urged caution in interpreting the findings.
