Men say wives use India's pro-women laws to torment them

Via Marc A. Article here. Excerpt:

'EVERY Saturday evening, a group of male victims meets outside a courthouse here to swap stories about vicious wives tormenting them under India's pro-women laws.

The men, members of the Save Indian Family Foundation, believe they have been at the receiving end of vengeful women for long enough and are campaigning for "men's rights".

At the last weekly support meeting, Avinash Datta, 32, related how his wife threatened to have him and his elderly mother thrown into jail by falsely accusing him of demanding more dowry after their marriage two years ago.'

Gendered Justice - Man Charged with Fetal Homicide Faces Life in Prison

Story here. Excerpt:

'A Wisconsin man accused of causing his pregnant girlfriend's abortion by spiking her drink with RU-486 (the "morning after" pill) is being prosecuted under the Wisconsin fetal homicide law that classifies unborn children as potential crime victims.
...
"All preborn children deserve equal protection under the law, without exception," she added. "Ironically, under Wisconsin law, if the woman had taken RU-486 by her own hand, there could be no charges. God willing, more law enforcement officials will work to protect the lives of preborn children in our state, wanted or unwanted." '

Wisconsin is one of 37 states with a "fetal homicide" law. Under the 1998 law, anyone who attacks a pregnant woman and injures or kills her fetus could face life in prison.

UK Schools told to teach boys netball and dance

Story here. Excerpt:

'Schools have been told to encourage boys to play netball and take dance lessons in the name of equality.

Thousands of schools are being forced to ensure that pupils are more "gender balanced" as part of discrimination legislation introduced this year.

They must also ensure more girls study traditionally masculine subjects such as science, while increasing numbers of boys take options such as drama or dance..."

...Mick Brookes, the general secretary of the National Association of Head Teachers, said: "It doesn't make any sense to promote things to boys that they don't want to do, simply so you can tick a box on a form."'

Men Are Disposable, Psychology Today Cover Shows

Cover graphic here. Article here.

Here is the letter I sent Psychology Today about the December cover (their letter submission form is here):

"Dear Editor,

The December cover was blatantly sexist and portrayed men as disposable objects. It showed a woman who was proud of herself for disposing of a man. Because the man was lying on the ground after falling, it implied that violence against men is not only acceptable, but something desirable.

Perhaps you think I lack a sense of humor? My sense of humor in these matters has steadily declined as I've become aware of the perfuse portrayal of men as buffoons, lazy bums, disposable objects, and objects of violence in the media. Many of these are supposed to be funny. Such portrayals of women would never be tolerated, nor should they be.

Study: Black Misandry on Historically White Campuses

"Assume the Position . . . You Fit the Description"

A new study reveals hatred towards black men both on and off of the college campus. The study also concludes that "black misandry" -- wherein black men experience discrimination simply because they are black men -- is more hostile than that directed at other groups.

The study states: "The present study examines the experiences of 36 Black male students, in focus group interviews, enrolled at Harvard University; Michigan State University; University of California, Berkeley; University of Illinois; and the University of Michigan. Two themes emerged: (a) anti-Black male stereotyping and marginality (or Black misandry), which caused (b) extreme hypersurveillance and control. Respondents experienced racial microaggressions in three domains: (a) campus—academic, (b) campus—social, and (c) campus—public spaces. Black males are stereotyped and placed under increased surveillance by community and local policing tactics on and off campus."

Rudov on Christmas: "Women get Diamonds, Men get the Shaft"

Watch the video.

The holiday is here and you can't go half an hour without seeing a commercial about how men should be buying women's affection and how the woman should be sitting back simply "receiving gifts." Jewelers -- and the female-controlled media -- spend millions to advertise the "diamonds are a girl's best friend" ideology that most men fall victim to.

The misandrist, capitalist corporations have accidentally exposed the bleak reality that women -- and the men that pander to them -- have turned modern day relationships into nothing more than a transaction between a prostitute and her customer.

Lis Wiehl of course disagrees, as you will see in the video. Her position is pretty weak as always. Marc Rudov wipes the floor with her. He even manages to win over Neil Cavuto after Lis blatantly lies and acts as if she would be happy if her husband (i.e. Slave) only bought her "slippers" only to go back and say she would be angry if that was all her male doormat bought her. Pathetic.

Sydney Herald Blog: "Man Haters"

Article here. Excerpt:

'Ask ten people on the street what the opposite of misogyny is and eight will probably say "polygamy" or "trigonometry"; in fact the term for a hatred of men is "misandry" and it's so rarely used Microsoft Word's spell check doesn't even recognise that combination of letters (go and try it, I'll wait.)

The fact is, if you were to apply the same criteria to misandry that some feminists use for misogyny and its "pervasiveness" in Western culture, you couldn't turn on your TV, open a newspaper or attend a hens night without being swamped by our "hatred for men".'

"No man is an island"

Essay here. Excerpt:

"There is only one scenario that would permit the female race to carve out a future in which men are not as essential as women to the procreation and nurturing of children. That would be if men themselves were robot machines, unaffected by the loss of connection to humanity's essential means of regeneration, untouched by the loss of a role at the very core of human existence. But thankfully, that scenario is not available.

It's time for us all -but particularly women in this case - to join up the dots. The very men that we are seeking to disempower are the dear sons of the women we fought to empower all those years back. Excluding men can only lead to more alienated, disconnected, macho behaviour and violence. It's time for those women that can empathise, include and nurture, to do just that."

Harry's News: 'Spin Sisters' How the Media Sells Misery to Women

Myrna Blyth's book Spin Sisters reveals how a crusading group of bitter women in control continously sell fear and misery to other women.

An excerpt from the article: "Throughout the 1990s, women’s magazines became focused less on fashion and more on features about violence against women and children, “even though crime statistics were plummeting across the country,” Myrna Blyth notes in "Spin Sisters: How the Women of the Media Sell Unhappiness and Liberalism to the Women of America.”

Research studies of women’s magazines such as Cosmo, Family Circle, Good Housekeeping, Glamour, Marie Claire, Redbook, Vogue, Woman’s Day and Ladies Home Journal show that during that decade stories and cover lines that touched on social issues and victimization skyrocketed.

Mary Winkler's right to visit kids upheld

Story here. Excerpt:

"The Tennessee Supreme Court on Wednesday refused to modify or overturn a lower court's ruling allowing Mary Winkler, convicted of killing her minister husband, visitation rights with the couple's three daughters."
...
In September, a lower court granted Winkler visitation with her daughters pending the outcome of the custody battle. The court specified the visits be supervised by a guardian ad litem appointed to represent the children's interests and supervised by members of the couple Winkler is living with or by her sister. A subsequent appeal by the grandparents was denied, leading to their Supreme Court appeal."
