In an article published today, it appears that "White Men" have been a crucial block that has shifted from Hillary Clinton To Barack Obama in the Democratic Primary. They are also anticipated to be a crucial swing vote in the presidential election. Apparently, after years of being presented as an unthinking collective of racist lemmings, it now is apparent that white men have taken Martin Luther Kings I have a dream plea to heart and have decided that Barack Obama exhibits the kind of character men hope will inhabit the White House.
"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."

Story here. Excerpt:
'A callous wife who poisoned her husband with anti-freeze on their seventh wedding anniversary was today jailed for 30 years.
Kate Knight, 28, spent weeks scouring the internet for the best way to kill Lee before lacing his curry and red wine with the highly toxic substance.
The 37-year-old JCB worker lost six pints of blood, spent 16 weeks in a coma and was left blind, deaf and brain-damaged.
Astonishingly, his supposedly devoted wife even tried to finish him off with spiked drinks as he lay fighting for life in an intensive care unit.'

Should this not be a pivotal agenda for MRAs? Governments seem to be unwilling to tackle or even acknowledge this problem. Article here. Excerpt:
"And, whether or not this is the cause, male sperm counts have been dropping precipitously both here and across the world.
Studies in more than 20 countries have shown that average amounts have fallen by well over half in the past 50 years, from an average of more than 150 million per millilitre to 66 million.
The result is that men are now less than half as fertile as hamsters.
The counts are continuing to plunge by two per cent a year, and no end to the decline is in sight. At this rate, the average man will be unable to father children within decades.
Increasingly the sperm crisis is being blamed on a whole host of chemicals, not just synthetic oestrogen, but a wide variety of substances that have become ubiquitous in daily life.

The BBC has surpassed itself this week on male issues.
Firstly on male domestic violence victims (Radio 5 Sunday on 24th Feb) available here. [Ed. note: This is a 3-hour show and the host covers other topics in it.]
Secondly, on a feature about men falsely accused of rape. Excerpt:
'At the age of 19, Ben Guerin had his life ripped apart by one allegation.
Three years after he'd had a sexual encounter with a girl from school he was arrested for assault, rape and paedophilia.
...
But witnesses who had been with the couple came forward on Ben's behalf and inaccuracies were found in the girl's story. The charges were dropped and instead the girl was eventually sentenced to a year for perverting the course of justice.'

Police found condom wrappers, crack-cocaine, empty beer cans and alcohol in Swogger's hotel room last week. Swogger did not show up to work on Thursday or Friday."

Orange County Superior Court Judge Ronald L. Bauer just signed a settlement agreement ordering Club Med to pay NCFM attorney Alfred Rava of San Diego over $400,000.00 in attorneys' fees, plus other monetary sums, in settlement of a 257-member class action against Club Med for discriminating against men by giving free or reduced airfare only to women but not to men. You can read the judgment here (.pdf file).

'Holding women responsible for their violence was so at odds with the received wisdom of the movement's activists that, for her whistle-blowing pains, Pizzey's dog was killed and her entire family received death threats. Undaunted, she pursued her equal-responsibility crusade in the United States for many years in a fusillade of articles and books.
While dramatically extreme, Pizzey's story is nevertheless emblematic of the hostility truth-tellers confront in the domestic violence industry.'

I am a filmmaker. My passion is to tell people’s stories and give them a voice. It was difficult for me to decide if I wanted to expose myself and be publicly known as a alleged sex offender; going against my family and friend’s advice, I decided that going public was the right thing to do. I need to do this, because it is only way to expose this injustice and mistreatment towards men in our justice system. I was arrested solely based on accusation without any other evidence, other than a single eye witness who is her friend. My hope is whatever the outcome, people become more aware of this issue. I am determined to make my case by showing other men who have had a similar experience and how their lives have changed, and give them a voice from a men’s and accused's perspective.
I wanted to share my journey towards clearing my name, and every step of it: from a obtaining a lawyer, how my day-to-day life has been affected, to the final court hearing. I want anyone else who is wrongfully accused to not be ashamed and to speak up, and to address this issue.

It made it to mainstream! Story here. (Originally on MANN here.) Excerpt:
'Now First Step has taken its next step by opening a shelter for male victims of domestic violence and fathers who are struggling to maintain relationships with their children.
Officials say they believe "The Bridge," as the new shelter is called, is the first of its kind in Ohio.
"We're stepping out. We're doing something that has not been done before," said Terri Mercer, executive director of First Step. She and Esuga Abaya, the agency's community resource coordinator, say First Step has worked with an increasing number of men in recent years. The agency has, at times, made arrangements for male victims to stay at hotels or find other safe housing, but the options were limited.'

'The law in Botswana currently leans towards women when it deals with custody of children born out of wedlock.
As a result, some women, out of bitterness or for whatever reason, end up denying men access to their children.
The men, in that case, can't get legal help. While women's rights organisations booming all over the world advocate for women's rights, represented locally by Emang Basadi, men seem to be lagging behind in organising to form an organisation which can deal with men's rights and other issues that affect them.'

Dee Dee Myers was former White House Press Secretary during the Clinton administration. She has been all over the news claiming sexism and victimization in regards to Hillary's attempt to become the next President. This is a book written by a woman who exemplifies misandry! Excerpt:
"It’s easy (and perhaps a bit facile) to argue that men haven’t done such a great job. The last century was the bloodiest in human history, and so far, this one has been a tale of war, terrorism, religious extremism, abject poverty, and disease. I’m not saying it’s all men’s fault. But let’s just say, they’ve been in charge, and it doesn’t seem we’re much closer to finding answers to these profound and vexing problems.

Some people are upset, but the data shows that this will improve performance of both boys and girls. Let's see what happens! Excerpt:
'GREENSBORO, Ga. - Nearly four decades after this rural Georgia county stopped segregating its schools by race, it wants to divide students again — this time by sex.
Greene County is set to become the first school district in the nation to go entirely single-sex, with boys and girls in separate classrooms — a move born of desperation over years of poor test scores, soaring dropout rates and high numbers of teenage pregnancies.'
