Story here. A 22-year-old civil engineer has accused his former girlfriend, Lucy Tate, who was made a JP at 19, of bombarding him with hundreds of phone calls and texts after he ended their relationship. (JP: 'Justice of the Peace', the lowest level of judge in the UK).
He also said she abused his new girlfriend, stalked him and hacked into his Friends Reunited entry and announced she had given birth to his baby. Excerpt:
"Police have been accused of an 'Orwellian' attempt to silence the man.
In what was viewed by politicians last night as an attack on the freedom of speech, detectives made him sign a statement promising not talk to the Press about the case - after details appeared in The Mail on Sunday.

"A girl strapped with explosives approaches an Iraqi army captain, who dies in the suicide blast. A woman posing as a mother-to-be to disguise a bulging bomb belt strikes a wedding procession as part of a coordinated attack that kills nearly three dozen people.
The attacks last month were among the latest blows by female suicide bombers — and further evidence of shifting insurgent tactics amid an overall drop in bloodshed around Iraq.
U.S. military figures show the number of female suicide attacks has risen from eight in 2007 to at least 16 so far this year — not including a suicide bombing Friday near Ramadi that Iraqi police believe was carried out by a woman. That compares with a total of four in 2005 and 2006, according to the military."

"A teacher who punished a student by putting him in a storage room without supervision has been fired by the Palm Beach County School Board.
Palm Beach Central High School teacher Rutha Scott lost her job Wednesday after an investigation found she placed a student in a closet for misbehaving, the second time the teacher had been accused of sending unruly students to a closet and the sixth time she had been accused of misconduct.
Scott sent the student to a classroom storage closet for as long as 15 minutes after she was interrupted during roll call in February. The student said the lights were off in the closet, which measured 16 feet by 6 feet."

"A former all-women's college did not break a contract with female students when it decided to enroll men, a divided Virginia Supreme Court ruled Friday.
In a 5-2 decision, the court rejected a claim by nine female students at Randolph College — formerly Randolph-Macon Woman's College — that promotional materials and other publications promised them four years at an all-female institution.
Chief Justice Leroy R. Hassell Sr. wrote in the majority opinion that the court could find nothing in marketing materials promising the school would stay single-sex."

Rebecca Walker is the founder of the Third Wave Foundation, a feminist group that works nationally to support young women and transgender activists. So I found it hard to believe she wrote this for an article at CNN:
'But with a Democratic house divided, now is the time for healing, and this can only happen if Hillary's staunch female supporters let go of the reverse-sexist ideology that women are inherently better, wiser, and more compassionate leaders.
They will have to acknowledge that sometimes the best woman for the job is actually a man -- if it's the right man.
It is time to turn the page on myopic gender-based Feminism and concede that while patriarchy is real, so is female greed, dishonesty and corruptibility.'
If "third wave" feminism emphasizes this kind of logic, halleluiah!

"A mother was facing jail last night for leaving her toddler son alone in a flooded kitchen while she spent a weekend partying.
Kelly Tollerton, 22, was warned that prison was 'almost inevitable' after a judge heard how she left the two-year-old boy, caged in the kitchen by a baby gate, to fend for himself.
He had been forced to sift through bags of rubbish for food 'like a dog'."

'BARTOW, Fla. -- A Polk County middle school teacher was arrested Thursday for allegedly having sex with young boys. Currently, 32-year-old Danielle Jones of Auburndale is still being paid by the school board.
Two of the boys were her former students and then they started sharing their sexual trysts with their friends. One of the boys told another teacher at Stambough Middle School (see map) last year. When investigators started peeling back the layers, they found there were at least three other boys Jones was allegedly having sex with.
"It's painfully obvious to us that she is a pedophile," said Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd.
Jones was arrested Thursday and charged with two counts each of unlawful sexual activity with minors and lewd/lascivious battery."'

I managed to get a letter published on the new law in Colorado requiring casinos to withhold winnings to pay CS. My argument is that the problem in collecting support is not recalcitrant dads, but a system that is biased against dads. The sponsor stated he was going after dads. When a specific group is targeted by law, that is a clear form of bias, even if the law is written in gender neutral language.
You can view the letter and make comments here.
Right now, most comments are providing opposing viewpoints. I would welcome a few supportive comments. Thanks.

'"Terrible"? As this edition of Whistleblower shows, there is nothing wrong – and a very great deal right – with boys and masculinity. As maverick feminist Camille Paglia courageously reminds her men-hating colleagues, masculinity is "the most creative cultural force in history."'

TEN’s Senior Policy Analyst, David R. Usher lands premier exposure on WorldNetDaily for his latest piece, ABA's predatory feminist lawyers. Backed by RADAR’s latest special report (.pdf file), Dave exposes some of the inner workings of the American Bar Association’s ( ABA ) attack on American parenthood for profit. This no holds barred piece is a must read, as will be the follow-up pieces forming his first major investigative series. Excerpt:
'The ABA Domestic Violence Standards of Practice displays overt sex bias obvious to even an untrained individual. The victim is repeatedly defined as female. For example: "The lawyer should discuss with the client her wishes regarding temporary custody and visitation, keeping in mind jurisdictional issues."
The additional commentary attached to ABA Standards of Practice document extends sex biases even further: "May a client flee for safety to another state with her children without being charged criminally?"

Dr. Linda G Mills, a member of SAFE's Speaker's Bureau releases her new book "Violent Partners". From the book site:

Dr. Linda Mills challenges assumptions, tears down myths, and offer solutions, all the while telling riveting stories of couples who have conquered violence in their relationships. In Violent Partners, she describes several programs that hold promise for addressing intimate abuse, including two nationally known and groundbreaking treatment programs- Peacemaking Circles and Healing Circles.
...
Linda G. Mills, J.D., Ph.D., is Founder of the Center on Violence and Recovery at New York University, where she is also a Professor and Senior Vice Provost.'

'SYDNEY (Reuters Life!) - Bachelor Carl Weisman got fed up of being classified as a playboy, a loser or a commitment-phobe so he set out to find out exactly why he and a growing number of eligible men were steering clear of marriage.
Weisman, 49, conducted a survey of 1,533 heterosexual men to research a book aiming to give women an insight into why some smart, successful men opted to stay single -- and help lifelong bachelors understand why they are still the solo man at parties.
...
Weisman also found that financial issues, both positive and negative, played a large part in men's fear of commitment.
"Those with little money said they would have nothing to offer a partner, with some suffering self-esteem issues and withdrawing from the dating pool," said Weisman, an engineer-turned-author with two books now published.
"While those who are financially sound were terrified what a bad divorce could do to them."
Weisman said his research blew away any idea that single men were unhappy.
