Fosters Bombarded with Letters Supporting Men's Commission

News In an encouraging show of support, people from the Seacoast area of NH and beyond bombarded Foster's Daily Democrat with letters supporting the proposed Men's Commission and taking the editor writer to task for slamming the commission. Their efforts can be seen here. Kudos to everyone who had their letter printed, and to anyone else who wrote in but wasn't recognized.

Well Scotty, looks like you're getting a little more blunt with people who want to mess with men's rights. Could I detect a hint of impatient, indignant _anger_ in your letter?

This is a side of you we haven't seen before, and I'd like to see some more of it. You've got some clout in the men's movement, I think it's time you used it. Send the feminazi's screaming.

Great work, Scott. It's wonderful for men to be indignant and to express their outrage. And I agree, it would be great to see more of this side of you.

Does Fosters regularly leave typos, etc., in their letters to the editor? Many newspapers have policies which allow them to edit letters for typographical mistakes. I'm wondering if Fosters has such a policy. If they do, I wonder why they didn't use it on some of the common errors in some of the letters? (I'm not bashing the letter writers here. Everybody makes typos... but the editors should have caught them and fixed them prior to publication).

Great news and an excellent collection of letters. I loved yours Scott, the first paragraph was a winner! Each of the letters was clear and strong. I hope these all went in the print edition, if so, then this editorial has done more good then harm.

Great to see!

This is such an encouragement. Congrats to Scott and to everyone who worked so hard on this. If they create a men's commission that actually addresses men's issues adequately, NH will be way ahead of the game.
