The fact that we are mass drugging 4 million boys and damaging their brains means nothing to our policy makers. The fact that one third of our Students don't graduate, that our Colleges are becoming Female Only bastions of anti-Male hatred has not mattered. The fact that there are fewer future Wage Slaves (Husbands) for females does matter.
Now Women are becoming alarmed. It has gotten so bad a Feminist in the UK is advocating aborting Female Babies so there will be more choices in Males. It has gotten that bad. Western Civilization is imploding. Grab a beer and watch the fun.

Well, I'd like to see the quote/cit'n for this! I feel strongly that it is just as wrong though to advocate sex-specific abortions on girls as on boys.
One thing that perhaps is missing from the consciousness of people is that more girls than boys are being born these days largely due to problems with pollution-- Y-bearing sperm cells (boy-makers) are smaller and weaker than X-bearing cells (girl-makers), and so changes to the environment that affect men's sperm count as well as strength of sperm cells are likely to affect Y-bearing sperm cells first and hardest. That is exactly what is happening. The likely ratio for males and females in humans is normally (ie, historically), when no human-devised sex-selection is at work, around 52-55% births being female with 48-45% of births being male. That balance, due to pollutants and perhaps other phenotypal factors, is pushing the birth ratio toward girl-production. On top of that, if people have just one or two kids, for example, as they are in the western world, the chances that child #1 will be female beats the chances that such will be male, by around 60% nowadays. Basically the more kids one has the more likely one is to have boys and eventually, the number of boys and girls evens out -- if the brood gets large enough. :) However if one has just one or two children, the chance both will be girls is pretty high, esp. these days.
I take no satisfaction at all in the fact that our civilization is likely to be fall apart and be overrun/replaced by a version of society that is less respecting of human rights and the rights of individuals. That IMO is where we are headed. The chances as I see it that due to demographics, the western world ends up becoming "easternized" (ie, Islam spreads, as it is doing so in Europe quite successfully, etc.) is nothing to be happy about. The human race in general though is likely to be adversely affected by environmental shifts, social disorder, scarcity of resources, etc., so that life is going to decrease in quality for many of us as time goes on. This may well be the last era (ie, 2000-2050) for the next 1,000-2,000 years where history will say "Damn, things were good-- that was the life!" Are we headed eventually for another "Dark Ages"... probably. Exactly when, who can say, but it seems to me the conditionjs are right for it to start emerging in no uncertain terms in the next 200 years. Some would argue it is already emerging, despite things like the Internet, etc. Alas I can only speculate, I have no crystal ball.
So personally, I am not in the mood for grabbing a beer and watching "the fun". There is nothing fun about it. The list starst as follows: Boys under-educated and hopeless, girls without any sense of abiding relationship integration with boys and vice versa, personal freedoms on the way out, education and its value being undermined or questioned to the point where it becomes deprecated, religious fundamentalism of all kinds on the uptick, and a leadership crisis in the western world so bad as to be unprecedented in its scope and implications, environmental problems undermining the health of the planet and the people on it, worldwide financial crisises in the offing, etc., etc... the list goes on.
No, this isn't a TV show to watch and have fun doing it. This is real, and it SUCKS!

I watched a TV show about "one" of those towns that resides next to a chemical manufacturing plant. When the birth defect rates, miscarriages and cases of leukemia reached unbearable proportions, someone, I don't remember who, was asked to look into the situation. As he poured over all of the birth records he asked a simple question. "Anyone see anything funny about this?" "What?" they asked. "There are no boys on this list". As the previous poster pointed out, chemicals that seeped into the water table had, over time, altered all of the men's sperm so that the necessary ingredient to produce male offspring was no longer present. What astounded everyone is that no one even noticed.

Is it that the young Males are opting out of playing the game? Could it be that most teenage Males see through the propaganda and realize that to play the game and perform ones self to death isn't all that? Young Men have a bleaker future in this country than young Women, no? A lack of desire to be a mule can only be rectified by changing the circumstances that encourages them to "drop out". In order to do that we need to chnage the system it self. Hmmm, was that a seditious comment, or just common sense? Or if this country continues as it is going they will make a law to force young Men to continue in school or go to jail. Problem solved! The ones that graduate can be prison guards, and the drop outs can be the prisoners! Of course the system would reward those that used their innate talents to oppress others with position and privelege; wait a minute we have that now! Have we not had enough manipulation from our "fearless" leaders? I know I have........

There's a Washington Post essay by two feminist writers titled "The Myth of the Boy Crisis", link at -
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/artic le/2006/04/07/AR2006040702025.html
Using selective research studies, they assert that many of the academic achievement differences between boys and girls are so small as to be insignificant.
The piece does a credible job of showing that the biggest achievement gaps and drop-out rates are happening in poor black and hispanic populations.
Obviously Jonathan Kozol has been reporting about school inequality as a class and race issue since the 1960's, so this is not "New news."
The journalists who authored the report did not feel it worthwhile to interview any actual boys -academically successful or otherwise - about their schooling experiences.
Among feminists, this technique of ignoring one's subjects is called "silencing the victims."
