I'm from the U.S. instead of the U.K. so I'm not up on all the statistics in the U.K. I heartily encourage the fine art of refutation of gender feminist fallacies and propaganda. Every MRA should arm himself/herself with the relevant facts and be able to quote credible sources. Every MRA should be willing and able to refute gender feminsm's propaganda whenever circumstances legally permit. I was at a paternity fraud protest on Monday on a public sidewalk outside a court house in Los Angeles, and was wearing a Mebsbiz T-shirt that said, "FEMINIST LIES MAKE BAD LAWS." A person who eventually identified herself as a "feminist" came up to us and started harassing, insulting and hurling gender feminist propaganda at us. Here's an excerpt from a brief summary I wrote of the days events,
"...a lone female heckler, became confrontive and started using ad hominem attacks on both of us. She didn't like the T-shirt (FEMINIST LIES MAKE BAD LAWS) I was wearing, told us women only make 76 cents on the dollar compared to men, told us women were doing their part in the Iraq war, called us idiots, told us to "get a job." I pointed out that I was not a proponent of comparable worth, and that women needed to earn their money, and stop opting out of their jobs every time they feel like it if they want to make the money men earn. I told her about the documentation in Warren Farrell's new book, "Why Men Earn More, and What Women Can Do About It" as well as the "Wage Gap Myth documentation at the Independent Women's Forum (IWF). We both told her that men were the vast majority of all combat deaths and injuries in Iraq, and I told her I just didn't buy into bigoted feminist propaganda and lies. At one point she actually grabbed _ _'s jacket with her left hand, and that's when I brought the camera out and started photographing her behavior. To her credit she came back sometime later and apologized to _ _ for assaulting him, but didn't apologize for her obdurate feminist propaganda, misinformation and overall rudeness."

Holy battle-axe, Batman. Recently I've read on more than one femi blog, or somesuch, that MRA's monopolize the conversation when trying to rebut some femi-bs. Otherwise, saying that we talk too much and are none too gentle about it. Ray, if you had done the same as your gentle feminut, do you think the LA PD would allow you to bring a laptop, and provide internet access, to your jail cell? Now THAT'S outrageous.

Good point. Out on the street, just like in the home, women can provoke or assault a man anytime they feel like it and the feminist trained bigots known as police and judges will just let them get away with it. It's harder for them to get away with it, when a femi-batterer is caught on film, but when your dealing with man-hating, hate monger bigots known as the LAPD, or our local man-hating, hate monger judges, anything is possible.

Welcome to Mensactivism, Jim. We all started out somewhere trying to do what we could to rectify the maladies created by 30 years of gender feminism run amok.
There are some great links on this site to information from other men's rights places. I highly recommend HisSide run by Glenn Sacks. He's a well known Los Angeles radio personality who has his own weekly radio show heard over the air waves in Los Angeles, New York, and Boston. He can also be heard through the internet, and archives of his shows can be heard on line by going to his site. He's been making a real difference. Once again, welcome. Everyone that has a heart for true equality for all has a place in the men's rights movement.

SUMMARY: Bruce Clark, DfES: Distortion of Family Policy
A DfES civil servant has for years run key aspects family and social policy as a private fiefdom beyond Ministerial control. It is highly unusual for an individual civil servant to be subject to a formal complaint - as here - for incompetence and/or duplicity.
WEIGHT OF THE COMPLAINT
A 46-page formal complaint was lodged on 26.4.05 against Mr Bruce Clark of the DfES:
- endorsed by multiple signatories from a range of professions and organisations
- filed with 5 Ministers, 2 line managers and the DfES Permanent Secretary
- supported by the professional press
- backed by contemporaneous documentation / email evidence
SCALE OF THE COMPLAINT
- social policies emanating from 3 Ministries are brought into question
- the problems have most recently been overlooked by five Ministers
- there are major distortions of policy going back at least five years
- there are potential issues of ministerial complicity and/or negligence
CONTAMINATED AREAS
1. The Early Interventions project 2003-2005
- hijacked and disbanded by Mr Bruce Clark
The EI project, agreed by the professionals and Ministers, would have resolved the current problems in the family courts (‘contact cases’, F4J etc etc). Mr Clark replaced EI with his own scheme while telling Ministers that EI was still under development. His private ‘spoiler’ (called Family Resolutions) has collapsed.
2. The ‘Parental Separation’ Green Paper: 2004
- voided by Mr Bruce Clark
This major Green Paper was founded on the deliverable benefits of EI - which Ministers were led to believe by Mr Clark was still under construction. In fact, EI had been killed. Without it, the Green Paper is empty.
3. Munchausens / shaken babies / Adoption and Taking into Care, etc: 2000-05
- distorted by Mr Bruce Clark
This is a far wider area than 1 and 2 above. There are very extensive ramifications. The allegation here is that Mr Clark seized upon unproven quasi-medical hypotheses (which mistook illness for a symptom of abuse) to construct “Inquisition-type” social machinery. The role of Social Services was changed, from helping families to preying upon them - on the basis of flawed and foolish doctrines launched by Mr Clark and his guidelines.
‘Child Protection’ underwent a similar mutation in the hands of misinformed zealots. Maybe thousands of children have been mistakenly taken from parents for the highly-dubious benefits of adoption or Care.
Both these areas – EI and Munchausens – have the common factor of Mr Clark hijacking an assignment via a ‘packed’ committee - who either overrode professional concerns without basic consideration of the issues or, in the case of EI, who were not briefed on the project they were actually supposed to be building.
One of the areas – contact – creates a vast amount of private misery for tens of thousands of parents and children each year; the other area, although numerically smaller, creates tragic consequences of the gravest nature. Parents who have already undergone the trauma of a sick or stricken child find themselves criminalised for their misfortune.
A shadow has been cast over the integrity of the child protection system and the mechanisms of family justice.
The Bruce Clark Complaint, where two ventures under his control have gone blatantly awry in similar circumstances, raises an issue of whether ultimate responsibility lies with civil servants or Ministers.

Welcome Jim. Like you I have no particular axe to grind. I've gone over the wall and live happily in Southeast Asia but I still find what's happened to the west both sad and infuriating. I had to take an awful lot of crap before I was able to make my escape.
I took a quick look at the link. Before I even got to the bottom of the page, my first though was that this is all so childish. The writer had obviously swallowed all the feminist propoganda hook,line and sinker and argued in a petty and simplistic way. Then I reached the end and read that she was 18 years old. Such is the state of modern western womanhood. We are now being preached to by little girls who think they rule the world. Well, things are moving on and they have a shock coming.
I expect you probably know there's been an explosion of mens activism sites. You could spend all day on line if you had the time. This is one of the best because it's updated daily and covers so many issues. Lots of comments too.

Yes, I also felt it was all a bit innocent and simple and yet sincere at the same time. It was interesting to see the mindset of of a young woman who was born in the mid-eighties and has grown up in a feminist society. The article lacked the cunning, cynicism and deviousness of the fully fledged feminist.
Perhaps she needs to spend some time in a lesbian Womens studies indoctrination centre in order to be fully feminazified.
