Last year's AIDS conference focused on women only, and yet they said they compromise only 50%
Annan called for "feminization" of aids, when half of it is men? I don't understand the logic
Oh and also, they are developing this vaginal gel that would 100% prevent AIDs for women, but what about men?
Doesn't men get AIDS from women as well? Condom is not 100%! So how come women get these anti-aids gel while men gets the old, ineffective, and SENSELESS condom???

Evidently, we need to get the subject of males as victims of everything including DV into similar programmes !
Surely someone out there knows writers, producers, directors or commissioning agents on varied TV shows - and can educate them to educate the public !

Sanders article at least isn't viciously anti-male, but it's still full of crap.
It's reasonable to conclude that the majority of media outlets aren't concerned with constructing a nuanced, ongoing dialogue about black sexuality and American culture.
Get real. Tell it straight and simple. The majority of media outlets are peddling anti-male hate and lies.
The first comment to appended to the Sanders article gets real.
The truth is that black women make up just 18 percent of all new AIDS cases, not 72 percent. That's a dramatic difference. The reason is because women are not the majority of AIDS cases in the U.S. Men are. In fact, there are almost twice as many black men diagnosed with AIDS every year as black women. In 2003, there were about 7,000 black female AIDS cases and nearly 14,000 black male AIDS cases.
The truth is that male-hating feminists have seized control of major institutions and treating men worse than slaves. Wake up!

What amazes me is the fact that it is so easy to demonise black men, while showing black women as helpless poor victims of an evil animal. Below I have linked to a more postive and logical look at both the "facts" in this issue. The author also considers the reaction of the media (including the sinister Oprah), and the reaction of the US public (including black women). Relations between black men and women are already at an all time low, this is just driving us apart even more.
