Rape? RAPE!?

News frank h writes "Why, I think this article is a first! Or at least, a first in recent memory: a news organization actually using the term 'rape' in association with a woman "having sex" with her students. Check it out."

The mother of the 15 year old boy accusing Sharp of rape is upset that Sharp is already out of jail.

"He's having a real hard time with this and we told him, 'Son, she's going to be arrested. She's going to go to jail and not going to get out.' She was arrested (Monday) and she bonded out at $25,000," she said.

...a woman on the defense and a woman on the offense. How on earth will they manage a ruling? They're both women!

Then again, the direct victim is male... so whatever.

Notice how the paper that reported the incident, doesn't want to post a 'half way decent' picture of her. My internet explorer NOR my mozilla explorer can't increase the picture size so that you can get a good luck at her. Or is it just me?

I agree with the pic size. You can bet it would have been twice as big if it was a man and it would have been in bmp format. Along with his home address, work, etc.

Yes, it is a rarity for a female accused of being a sexual predator to actually be labeled a rapist when the alleged incident involved a minor male or as in this case males.

The news department at this station should be commended on their courage and honesty in reporting. However, it is too bad this same progressive thinking news department did not go a step farther in promoting fairness by not naming the alleged rapists until a conviction or confession. This rule should apply to both male and female accused.

You may have heard about the teacher here in Hillsborough County who had repeated sex with a minor student. The last I heard, she was charged with "lewd exhibitionism" (she had sex in car with traffic), and some other charge but not rape.
Strangely, this story seems to have now disappeared from the media here in Tampa.
I wouldn't be surprised if some feminists were trying to bury the story, but I have no proof.

Actually, have you seen the new Ford truck commercials, lately.
They have some retro macho type guy in a cow boy out fit singing; "I'M A FORD TRUCK MAN! THAT'S WHAT I AM..."
It is almost as if they are useing this exageration of a man to make up for possible lost sales due to the misandric commercials they have run in the past.
Well, Too little, too late, Ford...,

The 'retro macho type guy' you refer to is Toby Keith. I'm a little surprised he agreed to do the commercial, but it's possible he has no clue what Ford's been doing, and if we could get a good address for him email or snailmail, we should advise him on what's going on.

Toby's music does not shine brightly on feminism, and in fact, he cited in an interview that Amy Grant had accused him of not liking women. He said his reply was that he felt no ill will toward women, but that he had long tired of feminist shenanigans (heavily paraphrased).
