Dan Reynolds "Women are Fools" feature now on MSN
posted by Adam on 09:22 AM July 17th, 2004
The Media mens_issues writes "Dan Reynolds has posted several "Women are Fools" cartoons on Daryl Cagle's Professional Cartoonists Index! The link is here. While the cartoons have probably been around awhile, I wonder how much influence Men's Issues Online and Mensactivism may have had in this becoming a feature alongside the older "Men are Idiots/Fools." Thanks to all of you who wrote to Dan Reynolds to complain.

I don't want to see an epidemic of woman bashing.
I just want the man bashing to stop.

I agree, and it would be preferable to have no gender bashing of men or women. However, at least Mr. Reynolds chose the other alternative, which is to poke fun at both genders.

I agree. I almost got turned away from this website and others like it due to the rampant women bashing. Behaviour like that is exactly what most of us preport to be against in the feminist movement.

I went to a school with a high population of Native Americans. I was dating the reserve's CFO's daughter. After almost getting beat up on the reserve one day (thank god her brother was big and liked me), I had discussion about it with some friends. These friends kept labelling it "reverse discrimination".

Bull @#$&. Let's call it what it is discrimination is discrimination no matter who is doing it.

I wonder how many feminists (who laughed at the "Men Are Fools" cartoons) will now complain and say that Reynolds is bashing women?

I could be wrong, but he will probably get a whole slew of letters from angry feminists and like minded women. And Yes, those will likely be the same fembots and women who laughed their heads off at the male-bashing cartoons. But boy, let some one even HINT at pokeing fun at women, even a LITTLE bit, and it's "OFF WITH HIS HEAD!!!"
