	Benjamin Adam Studtmann writes "In the wake of a half-decade of horrific school shootings, it is reasonable to expect that any student or teacher who threatens to come to school with a loaded shotgun and start killing randomly will be instantly taken down by a SWAT team via bullets and tear gas. Why didn't it happen here? Why didn't we hear about this in the major press? And why is there no follow-up? Why am I asking questions I already know the answers to? I'm sure she'll receive some state-funded counselling to help this poor, administratively victimized woman come to terms with her terrible mental illness."

(Score:0) by Anonymous User on 11:08 PM July 11th, 2004 EST (#1) On the other hand, there was an incident in 2000 where a female teacher got in trouble for having a gun in the classroom. She was storing some boxes of personal items in the classroom and there was a handgun in one of the boxes. As a result, the teacher lost her job. (Go to this site and do a search with the string "Tere +Curl +gun".)
