Another Anonymous User also submitted a releated link and wrote "Let me get this straight: She lied to police and almost got her ex jailed but "did commit a crime, but I'm not a criminal" Notice how they refer to the husband as abusive. One must take note that, in Canada, you are encouraged to plead guilty by everyone when accused of domestic violence (it's easier they say). Who'll take a bet that she lied about the abuse in the first place (call me a cynic) here"

"And Delila did vex his soul nearly unto death"

This whole abusive husband thing is wearing very thin. If you accept the notion that every flirtation you have ever made puts you on the same moral ground as Ted Bundy and that every time you have used words like "bitch" it puts you on the same moral ground as Jack the Ripper...then the abuse of women stats are just horrendous.

The typical fate of most married men is to be nagged, bitched, browbeaten, and belittled, into impotence (with marital partner at least) and alcoholism by age forty...but this is not abuse...by virtue of not living up to the expectations of one big chronic state of disatisfaction you deserve to be treated like this.

It did my heart good to see on last night's episode of "This is Wonderland" that an "abusive" husband was given four months incarceration by a woman judge purely out of compassion to get him away from the two harpies who were hounding him to death.

Put some menstrual tampons in my shirt pocket because my heart bleeds for the plight of this poor abused woman

It's a made in Canada TV show that portrays day to day activity in a magistrates court from the perspective of a newly arrived female lawyer. There is no propaganda in this show...it portrays life's absurdity no holds barred. The lawyer kept trying to get the guy off light when it was apparent that he committed the abuse in order to get a vacation in jail from the two jobs he was holding down while attending adult education in order to meet paternity payments to these two chronic bitches....it was plain to see what the guy really needed was time out and he was begging for it from the judge.

It's amazing to me how this woman's story is personalized and her motives are framed in in order to make her more "human." The media does this repeatedly. Chomsky was right.

I think this stems from our common law roots where the men were responsible for everything. If the man's wife committed a crime the man was responsible and took the punishment. Same thing with his kids. The man was in charge and he was the ultimate responsible party. The fembots have of course looked at this and framed it as an evil plot to control women and keep them powerless. Of course one could frame it in terms of their being "cared for" or stewarded and therefore not having to be responsible but the fems of course only see things from 1/2 the picture and frame it as abusive and men controlling women.

The obvious impact of this is that women are not seen as "responsible" for their actions in the same way that men are. How many times have we heard "It's about women's rights and mens responsibilities." Yes, women have been given more rights, but there is a huge lag in our also assigning responsibilities. It's time they are held accountable in the same way as the men.

the former Miss Vaughan 2003 said yesterday after receiving a 60-day conditional sentence for public mischief. "At this point it's beyond me, there's a bigger purpose that's trying to be achieved."

I wanna puke. The author makes the story about this monster's "aspirations." The story is really about how little the law cares about women doing extraordinary things to screw over a man.

The bigger purpose is to show how men's lives are treated as if they're worth nothing.
