This is an excellent article and a great example of activism. Congratulations to Joe Manthey and the Vietnam Veterans of California. If we wait for anyone else to do things we will wait for a long time given the climate of misandry. Much better to step forward as has been done here and do something positive. Changing peoples attitudes like this conference obviously did is the sort of things we need to be doing.
Joe, would you consider writing up how you went about putting this together? I would love to publish that on Stand Your Ground to give men a template for this sort of thing.

Manthey's the one who destroyed "take your daughter to work day" as we know it, with his lawsuit up there in northern CA, after which even the County of Los Angeles changed "take your daughter to work day" to "take your daughters and sons to work day." Good new in CA is a good thing.

Around here it's simply known as "Take Your Children To Work Day".
