News Update on the Men's Rights 2004 Congress

Thanks to many of you for registering for the Men's Rights Congress in Washington DC on June 18-19. The response has been great. We have men signed up to attend from Texas, Utah, Colorado, Minnesota, Florida, New Hampshire, Maryland, Virginia and of course Washington DC. We are looking forward to a great time together in June and hope that more of you will be registering.

Glenn Sacks and Steven Baskerville are now confirmed as speakers for the event as are Carnell Smith and Dean Tong. Mike Geanoulis from the New Hampshire Men's Commission will also be a speaker.

It will be great to be around like-minded men and women who are working on these issues. Join us and make a difference. If you don't take a stand, who will?

I'm really looking forward to this congress. And I'm looking forward to meeting a number of the regular contributors to MANN as well as other MRAs.

I've already contacted some interested people about a social gathering on the evening of June 17, the day before the congress begins. I'll arrange for us to have a place to meet at a bar in DC.

If you'll be in DC on the evening of June 17, and you would like to take part in this social gathering, contact me at mensrights01@yahoo.com.

Once I tell you when and where we'll meet, please feel free to tell anyone else who might be interested. I'm announcing it through email because, if I post the info here, we might end up with feminists going to the same place to harass us. It would be nice to have some peace and quiet.

So get in touch. This will be fun.

You are wise. I will be with you guys in spirit, and wish you lots of good work and good fun.

...and be on the look out for angry radical/gender feminists looking for men to bash.

It's good to hear that attendance for the 2004 Men's Congress event is shaping up. I am not able to attend this time, but hope that there will be a future opportunity. The folks involved with putting it together deserve a round of applause.
