Sexist attack against "The Donald"
posted by Matt on 08:09 AM April 23rd, 2004
Masculinity Dittohd writes "Here is an editorial article by Rabbi Smuley Boteach attacking Donald Trump because based on situations Rabbi Smuley could not possibly know to be true, he asserts that "The Donald" can't be a hero because he allegedly doesn't honor women. There is so much bias against men and so much blind "honoring" of women in this article, I think we all need to write to him and tell him how biased he is and why he is so wrong on so many fronts, as respectfully as possible considering his title. How and where is he wrong? I could no doubt write a book and am drafting my comments to him tonight. There is a link to email your comments at the bottom of the editorial web page."

I say we all flood his computer with letters. This guy uses both sides of the arguement to twist his own point. It is illogical in the extreme, but he has cleverly written it so that most people will accept it. I am going to take a while to really write a good letter. Guys like this are dangerous.

I'm no fan of Trump but this was un-called for.

Hey, with a name like SMULEY BOTEACH why are we taking this self-loathing misandrous male toad seriously?

This essay is comedy, right? I'm sure it is, because I got some hearty belly laughs out of reading it. Snidely Boteach is a master of both sarcasm and parody.

While misandrous interpretation of many passages is fashionable in this century, there are passages in Talmud critical of women.

While there are Jewish gender feminists, we provide more criminal lawyers who defend men otherwise presumed guilty. Alan Dershowits spoke up against the false accusations in 1990-s. Dr. Laura is one of the most influential voice to extend the love commanded by the Scriptures to men as well.
