We are looking for 50 good men and women
posted by Tom on 01:02 PM April 12th, 2004
Announcements Are you tired of seeing good men shot down by bad laws and bad courts? Are you tired of the feminist propaganda being the status quo?

If you are please join us and take a stand at the Men's Rights Congress this June 18-19 in Washington DC. If these issues are important to you please drop what you are doing and join us. We need you to be there. Our goal is to gather a sizable number of men and women to make a strong statement that our issues deserve to be addressed. We have a goal of registering at least 50 people by May 15th. If you are planning to come, as many of you are, please sign up now. In the event that we don't get a good turnout we will likely cancel the event so please sign up now. All too often men's events such as this are under-attended and we are determined not to let that happen for this event. Join us! Take a stand at the U.S. Capitol on Capitol Hill. Be there.

We have gotten a great response from presenters and leaders from around the country who are planning to be with us. Scott Garman, the creator of MANN will be among them. Come and meet Scott along with Steven Baskerville, Jack Kammer, Michael Geanoulis and many others. Mike is a member of the New Hampshire Men's Commission and will be presenting one of many planned sessions. Glenn Sacks and Warren Farrell may also be attending.

If you can't come please consider offering a scholarship or making a donation to the cause. If you are worried about money let us know. We will do whatever we can to help you attend including help in finding affordable housing.

We must all hang together, or most assuredly we shall all hang separately. - Benjamin Franklin, 1776

If you won't take a stand who will?

I registered for the conference today but noticed that there was a problem with the final registration form you go to after sending your payment. The form apparently only works with Internet Explorer, and not Mozilla or Firefox.

Thanks for registering Scott! I will have a look at the compatability of that form with netscape. Thanks for the heads up.

If you are using Internet Explorer you should have no problems with the registration. In fact Netscape will also do just fine with the sign up for the congress. The problems that Scott refers to are related to a database form where we ask for your related information after you have signed up. Again, if you are using IE it will be fine. I will be checking into this.

Please feel free to register. This has nothing to do with the payments involved. The worst thing that could happen would be that we would simply take your info via email.

Well I suppose now is the time to either decide to do it or to put it off until it's too late to commit to it. 50 good men and women huh? Make that 50 good men and women, and one bad Hombre. :D

Time to practice my chants for the rally.

"I am man, hear me speak rationally!"
"One woman, one vote, one complete selective service registration form!"

I just mailed my registration-check.

It's worth pointing out that in addition to the Men's Rights Congress, there is a tremendous amount to do in D.C. I lived there for nearly five years in the late 60s and early 70s, and to this day, despite its political intensity, it remains my favorite US city. It's hard to imagine a place with more free, world class culture.

If you're thinking of attending the Congress, you might consider attaching some extra days of vacation.

I just signed up via PayPal. I have some old friends in the DC area that I'll hopefully be able to see again as well, since I lived in the area for nearly 8 years from the late 80s to the mid 90s. And it remains one of my favorite places in the country (despite all the politics).

The previous problems have been fixed and the registration should work just fine with IE or with Netscape. Sorry for the bug. Let me know if you have any problems.

I'm definitely registering for this conference. I look forward to going up to Capitol Hill and lobbying my representative and Senators. There is so much that we can say to them. Also, Washington, DC is beautiful in June. It should be a great weekend.
