MANN Chat: What Men's Health Crisis?

	I will host this week's MANN chat, Wednesday night (4/30), starting at 9:30 PM Eastern Time, at the usual location. The topic for this chat will be "What Men's Health Crisis?"  Earlier this week, a researchers at the University of Michigan published an article that refers to a "silent health crisis" in men's health, and suggests the need for "a new definition of masculinity that includes greater responsibility for oneself."  What do you think about this issue?  Are men experiencing a "crisis" in their health?  How much of the alleged "crisis" is due to men's individual behaviors?  How much of the "crisis" results from the disproportionate attention the government pays to women's health?  Join us at this week's chat to explore these questions about the men's health "crisis."  See you there.

"But one real demand, Williams says, is that "we need a new definition of masculinity that includes greater responsibility for oneself." What men really need are fair and unbiased researchers who don't jump to "blaming the victim," when the valid issues of men's health are raised. What Mr. Williams needs to do is acknowledge the pogrom (that's right - pogrom), that is underway in feminazi America today. That pogrom is being driven and fueled by the hate agenda of the feminazis along with their liberal ilk, and the malignant neglect of conservatives. Men are disposable under the "man's gotta do what a man's gotta do," bigotry of sexist America's national, state and local policies. I think the 1st thing Mr. Williams needs to do is take responsibility for his ignorance about the real causes of men's disproportionately poorer health/longevity in almost all areas. He needs to dig deeper and get an education before he summarily dismisses men's health issues with such a flippant and shallow comment implying that men are somehow initially at fault for the feminist hate war that has been waged against them because of their gender. Every public health message about men's health seems to put men down, but those about women's health *never* put women down.
