What a sight for sore eyes. Great job! My hat's off to all of you. Augusta needs Burk like a fish needs a bicycle....HA! I love it!

Is there anyone here from the Kansas City area? I'd like to see if we could get a KC NCFM chapter going, or even a Mid-America chapter until there are more chapters between the coasts. Email me at kcmofreebird@aol.com.

I'm originally from Marshall Mo, but live in L.A. now and am a part of NCFMLA. Considering the spirit of the people in that state I've wondered if there might be the makings of a group in that area. I wish you every success and if I ever move back there again I'd love to be a part of it.

Freebird,

Be sure to log on to the National Coalition of Free Men Website, http://www.ncfm.org/ . You'll see that we currently have six local chapters of NCFM:

Northern California
Twin Cities
Washington, D.C.
Dallas-Ft. Worth
Greater New York
Los Angeles

The first thing that's needed to get you started on establishing a chapter in the Kansas City area is, of course, for you to become a member of NCFM yourself! You can download and print our membership form directly off of the Website.

The fight against feminism/sexism a la Martha Burk, Kim Gandy, and those of similarly bigoted ilk will be successful only to the extent that men and women who oppose this sort of hateful misandry organize at the grass roots. NCFM, with six chapters going strong (and KC maybe seven?!), is clearly the best bet if such success is ever going to be realized. Please, everyone, join the National Coalition of Free Men and let's finally get serious about promoting TRUE gender equality from a strong, united front.

Good job, gentlemen! Thanks for exposing Martha "the Boor" Burk for what she really is--a sexist bigot.

We had a great time!

I hope it will inspire protests against gender feminists/bigots elsewhere, too. It certainly has inspired our chapter to plan more actions. As men, if we don't stand out and be counted, speak up and be heard, people like Martha Burk will not be checked or exposed for what they are. We learned this past Saturday that we can protest, we can be heard, and we have sympathizers as well, even among those who attended the conference.

I hope future protests will see more people attending, and more gender bigots and politicans getting the message: Men ain't lying down for it anymore!!

Great job guys! What an effort! I hope to be able to make one in the future.

I know Martha is planning to picket Augusta during the Masters....any thoughts of a counter picket? You know there will be mass media coverage of her protest. Some might rub off on our movement, especially if media outlets are notified ahead of time that we plan to be represented too. ESPN will surely be there for one. That could help wake up quite a few guys!

I just finished the flyer announcing the time, date, and location of our Father's Day Rally in front of the L.A. County Board of Supervisors. Any suggestions of good places to post and pass these out so as to get the word out to the Father's and other men who are victims of our system?

Do you think I should try to post these were they conduct the classes for batterers convicted of D.V.?

Nice!!!

I like this. The article at least mentioned many issues men face but did not mention the reasons.

Remember, the more people see you on the street the more impact it really has. I'd imagine that maybe over a hundred people would have seen you.

One can demonstrate anywhere at anytime. Ask to set up a boothe at the beach or a park. Have pamplets ready. Set up some key issues and tell it like it is. You don't even have to use the word 'feminist' in them. Just make a notice that says "It is commonly believed because of misleading advertising that violence is a one way street, we're here to set the record straight".

Great work guys. And your welcome Tom.
