Divorce I really enjoyed this Ray Peterson commentary, maybe you will too. It rings true for todays man. "The husband meanwhile is without support, resources, friends or legal protection while he lives in his parent's basement or in his car and wonders what the hell happened."

My criticism of the author's eloquence (Score:0)

My only criticism came, when I came to the end of his article and the mental flow of his ideas ended.

He writes from the gut, where the hard side of life lives after the passion of love has burned away the innocence. His mastery at stringing words together, while talking of the feelings that once lived in a heart turned to stone, are like the pungent bite of an aged wine as it rolls over the tongue and then buzzes your mind.

He describes the bitterness of betrayal at the hands of a legal systems, that has never known innocence, or love, or feelings and bites its victim like a venomous serphent, or the hangover from a long bout with the burgundy fluid. Like the later's effect, the mental torture hammers away in the brain, where no relief from pain can be found.

He could have said more, but when you speak such hard truths, even when you've just begun, you've already said too much.

My compliments to the author's style.

Sincerely, Ray

The fact that the "system" is designed to seperate men, and women from meaningful relationships, whilst scavengers wait on the side lines counting their money, is true. Anyone that has traveled the road of a marriage in trouble, and has sought help from the current system knows that this is true. Having been betrayed by professional organizations that we have been brainwashed to accept is ugly, and gut wrenching. Perhaps those that rely on critiquing writing style, and hide behind intellectualism are part of the problem. Just a thought, to be filed under "my opinion".
