A Legislative Feminist-Only Club

Inequality warble writes "By now everybody knows that radical feminists are trying to force admission of women into Augusta National. We hear of evil men excluding women and see radical feminist Burk claiming that women would never do such an evil and horrific act like excluding men and having a women’s only club. Well if that is true then why is there this women’s only group called the Women’s Policy, Inc. with a roster that includes only women? Were are the men? Were are the demands for men to be admitted into the leadership? Why is this group black listing Rep. Anne Northup for not being a member? Clearly, women have their own club and this one is shaping the male hate laws that we see flowing out of the federal government."

If this group is responsible for the wording of the VAWA and the process by which it breaks down civil liberties and due process - this group of women are man-haters.

VAWA enables sexist handling of domestic discord. Thoudands of men will be punished for no other reason than being a man in a 'witch-hunt' against alleged (not proven) abuse.

It's only going to get worse unless people start standing up against feminist hypocrisy....

This group has been around for a long time and predates the VAWA. So, yes they had a key role in the crafting of that piece of legislation.

Before these women complain about men-only clubs, I think they should first do away with all women-only clubs.

More in line with this idea than a legislative caucus, in my opinion, is women-only fitness centers like the Premiere Lady Fitness & Spa here in Austin, Texas which only allows women to join.

I'm pretty sure I remember some time ago in Massachusetts where they made women-only fitness clubs legal through legislation to prevent lawsuits by men to get into these women-only fitness clubs. The justification? Many women like to work out only in the presence of other women, not men.

Well gee!! We men shouldn't have these same rights... to socialize only with other men under the circumstances of their choosing?

I was disappointed that the Augusta National reply to the feminists didn't challege them to do away with all women-only clubs before complaining about their men-only club. I would have loved to have seen the feminists squirm over a challenge like that played all over the news media.

Someone posted a story the other day commenting on the apathy in the men's movement. A lot of people sent in posts complaining and whining about the apathy.

I don't get it. The way I see the men's movement is as a metaphorical bull dog locked onto the lies and scams of radical feminism (if that isn't too violent of an imagery for the rad fems).

I say, lock on tighter, dig in deeper, and shake like hell (metaphorically speaking) until all the loose screws (crazy people) come raining out of that movement of scanks like cock roaches falling out of a filthy pantry.

I just sen t he following letter to my local newspaper for publication under Letters to the Editor, for anyone who wants to read it:

To The Editor:

The right to freedom of association is implicit in the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. It been reinforced by the Supreme Court repeatedly. Said Justice Goldberg in Gibson v. Florida Legislative Investigative Committee, 1963: "... we hold simply that groups which themselves are neither engaged in subversive or other illegal or improper activities nor demonstrated to have any substantial connections with such activities are to be protected in their rights of free and private association." This right is the basis for craftsman’s guilds, labor unions, political parties, social clubs, and countless other benevolent organizations. It is also the basis for admission rules by organizations including the Hibernians, the Elks, the Boy Scouts, thousands of women-only health clubs nationwide, and private clubs such as the Augusta National Golf Club. The question deserves to be asked why there is a women-only club among elected U.S. Congresswomen called Women’s Policy, Inc. The right to free association explicitly allows private organizations to discriminate, whether or not they choose to. In this manner, the Master’s is no different than any golf outing organized by the Hibernians or the Elks, with the exception that it draws far better golfers and much media attention. It also draws revenue into the community, a significant fraction of which finds its way into the coffers of local women-owned businesses. The National Council of Women’s Organizations continues to attack Augusta National. This is an unconscionable violation of Augusta’s fundamental, constitutional right to free association. The assault may itself be illegal. The NCWO knows they cannot succeed in the courts, so instead they attack on economic fronts. Burk and her ‘associates’ are trying to legislate morality, THEIR morality, not from a foundation within the rule of law, but through the intimidation, even extortion, wrought from economic attack. These “girlcotts” are in themselves immoral, demonstrating a huge measure of intolerance and hypocrisy. Martha Burk, Kim Gandy, and the other leaders of this attack are quite welcome to form their own club and bar men from admission. It is their right and I would encourage them to exercise it, just as the Augusta National Golf Club exercises theirs. In the meantime, they should leave Augusta and the Master’s alone.

John Leo has written an insightful article regarding the double standard employed by radical feminists who want women admitted to the Augusta National. These same feminists then turn a blind eye to women-only clubs.

I'm getting sick and tired you and your cronies trying to destroy the Augusta golf club, as well as the Boy Scouts, and the men's athletic programs! Don't get me wrong; we never tried to say that you couldn't play sports, but if you want men and women to be together, then start an inter-gender club, and if you want only women to play, then start a women's only club, but please, DON'T TOUCH THE MEN'S CLUBS! Leave them alone! These men have a right to have their very own men's only club just as much as you guys have!

Stop trying to annihilate anythig male...you are not Adolf Hitler's Neo-Nazi clan!!!!!!!!!!!
