Grants Encourage Male Arrest Policies
posted by Scott on Saturday October 19, @02:16PM
from the domestic-violence dept.
Domestic Violence CJ writes "Here are examples of how police departments become biased against men (with huge grant offerings) by teaching them the "correct way" to handle domestic issues. In MA, against all evidentiary facts in just about every instance, men (fathers, husbands, boyfriends) get arrested because this is the "correct and trained way to handle these things." Many men are sitting in jail in MA without any examination of the facts concerning the incident. I know, I was one of them. Please contact the people listed on this page with accurate domestic violence statistics. Whether they want it or not doesn't matter, they need to know. Stop the "witch hunt" against men in MA."

Exposing these practises will get defence attornies asking embarassing questions.

Again, learn the law and tell everyone about the set up that was shown here. How the hell can anyone get a fair shake if they are so prejudiced against its sickening.

People told me I was paranoid when I was talking about systamatic discrimination the article shown here implicates it and is hard evidence that it exists.

When the whole system and everyone that works in it are doing more to prove your guilt and deny your side of the story exists for no apparent reason other than that you are a man.

Its really funny, one has to go to law school for years, be a lawyer for decades to be a judge. If I had of known that all I had to do to determine the outcomes of criminal cases was to work in shelters and give seminars and hand out other people's money I wouldnt have wasted my time. Kind of glad I didnt become a judge, it might make me look like a puppet among other things. Same goes for the rest of them.

I know I've said something like this before, but I just DO NOT understand why some people can't see when their actions are bigoted, by their very nature.
I guess it's easier for one to believe what is convienient, rather than let the facts get in the way of ones beliefes.

If evil police dept's. like the LAPD spent as much time documenting the truth as they do rationalizing and fabricating evidence based on their sefl-fulfilling profiling prejudices of domestic violence, then there wouldn't be so many innocent men being viciously abused by these hypocrites who committ atrocties worst than those they falsely allege to have occurrred.

Attatched, of course, the stats on false arrests of men, on DV charges.

What a bunch of cowards. Our country is in trouble.

This is a problem but also offers us the opportunity to take a stand. Have you written your congressmen and senators? Here's mine. I am planning in the future to put up a web page that will automatically find your representatives and will email them a template message about VAWA and sexism against men in the DV industry. I hope to have it going within the next month. We will see.

Any Democratic\Republic that tramples on the constitutional and civil rights of ANY of it's citizens is indeed one that is in trouble!
ESPECIALLY when that 'Government' is coherced by intimidation, as is the U.S., Canada, Australia, and western Euroupe. This intimidation comes from a (realitively)small group of people. (feminists.)
When a small group DICTATES to a Government, You KNOW someting is 'out of whack'.
As far as our Government being afraid of the fem-bots, They had BETTER be more afraid of US.

I mean maybe you will lose, but a political campaign will bring a spot light to the issues. It will give you a chance to to be independant and take on the world. Submit the truth and the destruction. If you are not worried about a career in politics anyways then campaigning without the fear of losing is a brilliant way to spread the word.

I once worked with an outspoken janitor who ran for Governor of California several times. To the best of my recollection he just payed his filing fees and ran. He even got more votes than some lawyers running in the primary.

I've never done it, but I suspect it would be an experience, an education, a platform, an expense and eventually a disappointment. It would be really interesting to do this, especially promoting a men's rights platform based on the issues we've discussed here. It might make quite a stir if you could get the right exposure. Just think of all the new names the feminists would think up to call you once they found out you were pro men's rights.

I don't have enough finesse to run for any office. My campaign slogan would be, "Vote for Ray or Drop Dead. Either Way Your Better Off than Voting for a Feminist" Feel free to use that if you run for office.

Go For It,

Ray,
If you or ANY man ran for office, on a "pro-man" platform, The feminists would likely (and successfuly) destroy your 'good name' in a HEARBEAT!
They have the media in their 'back pockett'.
And they would use it to their FULL advantage. They would throw at you the usual (false) alegation(s) that you: "hate women", want to "set back women's rights", "re-inforce the "patriarchy"", "take away "choice" for women", Blah, Blah, Blah!
We've all seen this done by the feminists countless times. They even do it to pro-man Females! Calling them "anti-proggressive" and such.
If anyone, pro-man, WANTS to run for office, I say go for it.
Just be prepared for the inevitable.
Frankly, I've been considering it MYSELF.

Today restraining orders are used more often to remove a man from a woman's life because there is something wrong with her or the relationship than they are used to protect women from actual batterers. The problem with this is that it almost always the men rendered indigent, because this is what the federal government trains the courts and police to do, otherwise the courts and police dept's will lose there precious grants and have to uphold liberty and due process....what a horrible thing...sic...

You are lucky she didn't make a false claim of abuse against you (this is what divorce lawyers and court appointed personel recommend) as you would have found yourself locked up while waiting for a pretrial without any examination of the facts, and then all sorts of feminist training and a long probation which is designed for failure, if not this -than jail time.
