After Sept 11 I saw an email with the picture of the statue of liberty holding a child in one arm and a gun in the other. The caption was "There is no place more dangerous than between a mother and her children". This case proves that.
If a woman wants to do anything she wants all she has to say is "abuse", "harrassment", or "for the children".

reversing the genders of this scenario could make things quite clear to those claiming that no bias exists here. on the other hand, the article seems to fall back on "traditional gender roles" as equality doesn't seem to be the road taken here.
My actions are explainable with rationale quite clear.
My violent behaviour at the root was caused by fear.
It was I who beat her senseless; of her life, I did attempt.
But it saddens me to see you look at me with such contempt.
I've followed all your laws to date. For that I've served you well.
Thus I deserve a chance or two to raise a little hell.
A parking ticket nullified, a pardon placed on me,
perhaps a day or two to kill my ex-wife legally.
in all seriousness though, i think we're all quite aware that violence against anyone (and that includes men) shouldn't be tolerated.
on one hand, i'm happy to see the discussions taking place on these issues. perhaps this means that men's plights are finally being heard. on the other hand, i'm noticing a disturbing rise in the numbers of reports. does anyone wish to theorize as to whether this because men are finally coming forward or because of an increasing hostile environment towards men?
in-so-much as these discussions help, how do we go about getting the information out to others? it's all well and good for us to know about these things but others need to as well in order for major changes to take place. but doing so as not to turn off others from the issues at hand is a delicate matter. how can this be done?

Honestly I dont think it even matters that the children were involved, if it wasnt that, it would have been something else.
I give credit for defence attornies for coming up with imaginative ways of getting their clients off; but the real responsibility lies on those who think its right. Women are allowed to kill men, its that simple. Maybe its a base biolgical function that men are in competition with eachother. So judges (mostly men), allow the murders, and the imprisonment of men at epidemic rates, with absolutely no signs of any growing concern. I know, its a real "Nature Of Things" arguement, but its more believable then some of these arguements being presented and accepted in the courts. These judges get a hard on for these females and its a no brainer. So logic and fact are trumped with tears and a look of helplesness. Sexism works both ways , does anyone know how to get a hold of Desmond Morris?? I think theres a series in it for him.
He can subtitle it The Court System: What the (expletive deleted)

These jackasses in black robes must be the legacy of the corrupt and morally bankrupt Clinton years of packing the judiciary.
Always remember:
"More harm is done to out society by the fascist tyrants who wear black
robes than by the fascist tyrants who wear white ones."
