Sacks, Angelucci to Appear on Radio Shows

Domestic Violence Men's issues columnist Glenn Sacks and Marc Angelucci of Stop Abuse for Everyone (SAFE) will discuss domestic violence against men and Glenn's latest column, "Domestic Assault on Baseball Player is no Laughing Matter" on the Al Rantel Show at 7 pm PST on Friday, 4/5. The show can be found on KABC AM 790 in Los Angeles. This sounds like an important opportunity to showcase the double-standards regarding domestic violence against women and domestic violence against men. Update: Glenn will also be appearing on "Feminazi Radio" with Susan Smith-Harmon today at 4 pm CST on WGNU AM 920 in St. Louis.  Glenn and Susan will be discussing Glenn's latest column, "Domestic Assault on Baseball Player is no Laughing Matter."

Conflicting Reports on 911 call (Score:1, Interesting)

I will of course take the time to listen to this show.

Unfortunately the news articles have conflicting reports. I am especially interested in how the 911 call was made. One report says the call was a hang-up call and that the police responded. Another report states that it was a 3rd party making the call.

It is important to know who made the 911 call. If it was made by the victim, we have a case where a man was treated in an equitable manner by the police. That is hard to believe. It would mean that biases are being overcome. However, if it was a third party, it begs the question of whether an activist or neighbor made the call. That would imply that the police were just favoring a celebrity. Who really made the call?

Hopefully, Glenn and Marc can answer this important question.

Wow, you really hit the nail on the head, warble. For some reason I doubt he did it himself, unless he did it in spite just to piss her off, which is almost always the case when its reveresed anyhow as far as I'm concerned. But when you say they are pandering to a "Celebrity", even if they are I'll take it, just so it raises the issue of the defenseless man in relationships. Maybe I will keep criticising the police for being nothing but hired guns for women, they may have to do some sort of "campaigning" and "public informing" to save their reputations. I was going to put reputations in quotes but I thought "why bother".

Here is the link from abc news that reports the call was a hang-up 911 call.

Authorities said Kitaen, 41, was arrested on Monday by officers responding to an aborted emergency call from the home she shares with Finley.

Aborted 911 call.

This of course begs the question of who really made the call as I have pointed out. Was it Kitaen preparing to make a false allegation to avoid arrest?

In other articles, it is interesting to note that Chuck Finely did not report that he was attacked. Instead, the arrest resulted from the officers noticing abrasions. That is why I question whether he knew he was being subjected to DV.

Other reports say a 3rd party made the call. But again, they report that Chuck failed to report the attack when the police responded. The police had to invoke the primary aggressor laws to make the arrest against his will.

Yea Dan. It is actually worse than that. They can arrest and convict on the basis of a simple rumor of DV. All that is necessary is to disqualify Finley's testimony with some trivial technicality.

Then she can be convicted on the bases that a neighbor may have heard something. This of course presumes that the women gets equal treatment, which I find unlikely. There is no requirement for the victim to press charges and testify. That power and right has been turned over to the almighty state by legislation that the radical feminist have supported.

It is big brother/sister playing God with the life of your family, and their pretending to have the knowledge of what is best for the family. It is presumed the parents do not qualify to make such decisions in the case of DV.

Am I way off base here? I mean whats to stop the police from raiding your house claiming someone called a DV disturbance in????

Yes. You are right on base here. It is actually Marxist theory that is being applied to remove parental rights. In the Marxist theory of State, the children are the property of the State. In our culture it has been exclusively the parents that had rights over the children. Unfortunately, that right is being systematically eroded.

That is why the State is able to arrest your children on a rumor and place them in a foster home. The strategy to transfer the ownership of the children to the State has been in the works since the sixties. If I find the name of the psychologist or sociologist that devised the plan I'll post it.

These laws are being incrementally written and passed using a facade of good intentions. Those intentions include protecting the children or the battered wife who cannot help herself. What is really sad, is the number of legislatures that buy into this form of trickery.

They are truly ignorant in passing these laws, and it is also a testament of the power that special interest groups wield over the legislatures. That is why the men’s movement must become more focused into a powerful special interest group. I believe this trend is taking place.

I'm not sure why you feel the identity of the caller is of such great importance?? Weren't they both celebrities?

It wasn't so long ago that no matter who made the call the man would be arrested. The fact that she was arrested is to me a step forward.
