False Alarm

Announcements After extensive investigation into the suspicious network activity on Mensactivism.org today, I have determined that our intrusion detection systems found a false positive. So there's no need to worry - the "cyber grrrl 3l337" hackers from N.O.W. haven't gotten us yet. :) Still, I have taken additional precautions and will be monitoring the server closely for further suspicious activity over the short-term future.

So the commy-fems haven't hacked the site yet. Well the more we communicate the more they will hate us. When the hate is strong enough they will attack any number of ways. Let's just hope there is sufficient support to defend the site.

Thanks Scott.

There are some of us here with backup plans in place or forming (although Scott may not be entirely aware of them). :)

A good web sleuth can learn alot about his attackers, and I have confidence Scott is working this angle. If nothing else, we should at least be able to identify the source of the attack, and if there are multiple attacks, and we can show a pattern and a relationship among the attackers, perhaps criminal charges, or at least civil charges, can be brought. If nothing else, there might well be enough of a preponderance of evidence to make a public statement, which might in itself, be bad news for "Information Terrorists."

Yes! Document, document, document. Publish, publish, publish.

As a an unrelated thought: My video portion for this week is Tim Burton's "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow", "Schindler's List" and "Chariots of Fire". That ought to move my men's issues along nicely...

Yes, Scott, to all the thanks you have received for MANN and keeping it safe, you have mine as well. Keep up all the great work.
