I'm half tempted to not post the latest piece of anti-father psuedo-science by womensenews.org but I think some activism is needed here. To get straight to it, they blame fathers for the nearest mothers' problems and think a socialistic quick fix is the answer, among other points of mindless folly. If you want to respond to this, try writing in the letters to the editors section. And guess what? it says "Note: Women's Enews reserves the right to edit or delete letters." Funny thing is, that wasn't there last week...

It is ALSO interesting to note that the vast majority of comments on page 1 of their letters page are negative comments about women's enews.
I sent another e-mail to their editor, Victoria Graham. I suggest you do the same. Instead of calling me a "reader" now, she calls me her "old friend." I'm not sure which is more insulting. ;)

I don't get what she is on about. How is a single mother's plight any different from the plight of a single father?
She starts off like all opinionated writers with a vague reference to popular research?
As soon as I read this at the beginning of an article my guard is up, and I suspect a circular argument is afoot.
I have to agree that there is such research and that it shows what she claims it does before I can even accept her argument.
