RADAR to VAWA: “This Time We’re Ready for You!”

First, RADAR has a committed group of experienced Media Monitors who are scouring the nation’s newspapers, looking for bias.

Second, RADAR has a fast alert system, consisting of e-lerts and notices placed on strategic websites. (If you are not yet signed up for the RADAR e-lerts, go to http://www.mediaradar.org/, and enter your e-mail address into the indicated space in the left-hand navigation bar – it’s that simple!)

Third, RADAR has proven that it is able to generate thousands of phone calls, e-mails, and letters.

Fourth, RADAR has succeeded in convincing the Washington Post, which is widely read by Washington lawmakers, to cut back on its inflammatory blood-and-guts DV articles.

Fifth, RADAR has established a quick-response system for the blogosphere.

Sixth, RADAR has partnered with other key groups who are working to assure that VAWA is male-inclusive.

Seventh, RADAR is upgrading its website to provide more information about VAWA.

And eighth, RADAR will be coordinating a series of Op-Ed articles that will be published on key internet sites.

There’s nothing to hold back, folks, this is going to be one to write home about!!
